So Jared said in his virtual panel today that he added/changed some stuff in 15x20:

He changed the exchange between Sam and Dean in the barn from “I can’t do this without you” to “I can’t do this alone” “yes, you can” “well I don’t want to”

He thought it was important that the last words Sam and Dean said to each other were the first they said on screen aka “Hey Sammy” “Dean”

He made sure Sam was wearing Dean’s watch after he died

He wanted his son to tell him the same words he told Dean aka “Dad, it’s okay. You can go now”

After reading the script he told the wardrobe department to make him an outfit like the one Sam wore in the pilot

So in conclusion Jared Padalecki is a freaking genius storyteller
