its 2023. Succession s4 just dropped. We see tom wake up in his bed, we are watching him close from his side. Typical succession music plays as he rubs his eyes with one hand sitting up on the bed. He quickly pats someone next to him in bed, we canot see who it is; we assume is shiv. Tom gets up but the camera cuts right before we can see the other person. Tom is speaking to the person who we cant really hear reply, morning conversation as the camera follows him into the kitchen. We see him doing two cups of coffee. He keeps talking as he goes back into the room and places one of the cups on the persons nightstand. We still cant see who it is. Tom goes into the bathroom and keeps talking until we hear a buzz on the phone, the camera still pointing to the bathroom door from the inside the bedroom, on top of the bed.

in all actuality i do think tom is always on the lookout for an opportunity to use greg’s admission that he finds having his head touched soothing as an excuse to get his fingers in greg’s hair one day.

greg’ll be stressed about some work thing and tom just walks over to where he’s sitting and starts like. petting him. he’s just carding his fingers through greg’s hair and greg’s like “h-hey tom…what’re you doing?” and tom’s like “i’m soothing you, you little shit. you said you find this kind of thing soothing. you’re not a liar, are you?” and greg’s just like “😳 uhhh no. nope. not a liar.” and tom’s like “i didn’t think so.” and then he gets a handful of greg’s hair and tugs a little and greg gasps and tom’s hand stops moving and they look at each other with wide, wide eyes.
