a simple cleansing shower ritual
a cleansing ritual does not have to be complicated! this ritual is intended to be as simple or complex as you desire. at its core, it is all about visualization- add herbs, scents, and portions of your routine as you see fit.
what you will need:
your shower, of course
whatever shower items you want to use (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower oil, so on. this is YOUR ritual, you can make this as involved or laid-back as you want)
optional: an herb sachet, a shower steamer, candles, crystals (be certain your crystals are safe to have in/around water!)
the ritual:
make your water temperature comfortable, whether you love your showers hot, cold, lukewarm. whatever will make you feel most comfortable. if you are choosing to use a shower steamer, herb sachet, candles, etc, make sure you place these in appropriate places; I often hang a sachet of herbs that align with my intentions from my shower head and let the steam do the heavy lifting.
stand under the water spray and close your eyes. envision the water running down your body, picturing it washing away what you wish to release. every droplet that trickles down your body catches those bits of negative energy, exhaustion, stress, and sends it all down the drain.
begin your shower routine, whatever that may be for this ritual. with each step, continue to envision that every drop of water, every bubble of soap, every granule of scrub latches onto whatever is bogging you down. let the negativity cling to your cleansers, rinsing away under the water, and feel as a weight is lifted with each step.
as you wash away the negativity, welcome in what you wish to see manifest in your life. self-love, joy, abundance, and so on. as you welcome these things in, envision yourself being enveloped in a warm glow; we want to imagine ourselves purified from everything we just released.
when you've finished your shower, as you towel off, finish off with some form of protection. I typically envision that glow entering my body, locking in what I manifest and repelling that which I wish to release. you can also follow up with your skincare, seeing any lotions, oils, and so on as protective barriers against what you wish to keep away.
self-care and magic are very entwined for so many of us. everyday rituals like this can really help you to heal and manifest the life you desire.
may you feel cleansed, renewed, and restored. 🖤
Glamour Magic: The Art of Becoming Who You Already Are
The Witchy Intention Blog | A Trusted Grimoire for the Modern Magical Path
Glamour magic isn’t just about beauty. It’s not about being the “hottest witch in the room” (though you absolutely can be).
It’s about transformation. Not into someone else—but into a more intentional, visible, and powerful version of yourself.
It’s the spell of perception. The ritual of self-reclamation. The quiet shimmer of knowing exactly who you are and letting the world feel it before you even speak.
It’s walking through the veil with lipstick, perfume, or none of the above—and still casting a spell that changes the room.
LOCKING YOUR MIRROR (A Very Brief Guide)
Hey, beginners!
I wanted to share a quick post about how to lock your mirrors as personally I see it as a necessary protective practice, especially if you're involving yourself with mirror magic or glamour magic.
As my usual disclaimer, this is simply my knowledge and my teachings that I've come across & developed through research, speaking with others, cultural teachings, etc. However, everyone has the right to believe what they like, I just hope this serves as beneficial to some of you somehow, whether it be providing information you resonate with or just teaching you something cool.
And as my usual reminder to any beginner or baby witch... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THOROUGH PROTECTIONS!
Comment any questions :D
The Important Info
1. Cleanse your mirror (& stake claim to your mirror if that's in your practice as well; recommended)
2. Walk up to your mirror (of course)
3. Put your hand up to the mirror like you're holding a key
4. Turn your hand (“turn the key”), “locking” the mirror
5. Speak out loud “I am locking this mirror. Nothing may pass through this mirror. It is not a usable or working portal.”
6. Tell the beings behind the mirror to go away, ignore their reaction and wait for them to leave (99% chance they'll leave after a bit), AND DON’T ENTER THE MIRROR REALM
Good luck & I hope this helped!

"She finds it difficult to cry.
Rage suppresses her tears.
She has shed her girlhood,
Traded her emotions for power.
It is easier to be hated
Than to face not being loved.
Easier to be angry
Than to accept sadness."

The Good Place in a nutshell
Will anything ever bring us as much joy and comedic bliss as the reveal of Jason Mendoza? Will I ever feel as alive as I did in that moment when Jason utters the words "heaven is so racist"? Will there ever be a moment in time that slaps me so hard in the face with surprise as the moment Jianu the monk rapidly turns into Jason the Jacksonville dirtbag? Will we as a society ever capture that kind of magic again?
