Driller’s Animal Fact Of The Day

Hiya there! I’m The Driller! I’m also known as Drill, Noe, and other.. crude names by opposing teams id rather not say. I found this small tv-like device somewhere in the dustbowl base, and I figured I should make use of it; considering it’s in my possession now. Only my friends, Chem and Pilot, know about it. Hopefully Engi won’t find out and try to tinker with the device. Who knows what he might do to it.

Meet The 3 Amigos!

MEET THE DRILLER!

SUPPORT CLASS

The Driller specializes in… digging. Well that’s certainly something. Instead of treading on ground, they tread below it. Quite smart, right? Not exactly the combat type, Driller digs tunnels underground for herself and other mercenaries to avoid any expecting enemies and ambush them under their feet. Of course when it comes to combat she can rely on her Lee-Enfield rifle.

Other than her job, Driller loves writing and drawing, as well as collecting any kinds of minerals she finds while digging. She is particularly a fan of animals(except insects), especially for dogs. Oh, and she’s absolutely BritishAmerican guys, she swears! Let’s just hope Soldier believes she’s American enough..

MEET THE CHEMIST!

DEFENSE CLASS

The Chemist is a mercenary that specializes in any kind of chemicals and any properties of matter. Don’t leave Chem alone with Medic, unless you want a biohazard growing in the infirmary. Unlike the Medic, Chemist isn’t sadistic with their occupation. Just—very enthusiastic!

If she isn’t doing chemistry as her main hobby, Chemist enjoys sketching with Driller time to time, listening to the radio with Pilot, and collecting biotic factors while taking walks outside. She also loves a good conversation with the other mercenaries! Go on, spill any tea you have. 😉

MEET THE PILOT!

OFFENSE CLASS

Move along Soldier! The pilot takes air superiority in the sky now! If you’re already cautious of anyone who may be behind you, you better watch out above you too! The Pilot special skills are quite obvious, but they are the ruler of air superiority! They fly quite fast too thanks to their jet pack.

Being great buddies with Demo Man, Pilot is quite skilled in bombs himself, but someone should tell him having a bomb taped to a stick isn’t exactly the wisest choice. But when off work, Pilot loves listening to radio tunes and soaring through the air. As a nerd himself, he’s commonly tinkering with some kind of device in some corner of a room. But he doesn’t mind chatting with his two closest buddies too to kill time! Don’t let Scout borrow his jet pack.

(Note: The Pilot and Chemist are based on my friends, so any info about them is loosely based on facts.)

UnderLust Redesigns

(Note: I’m not trying to diss the creator for their au, I’m just some random on tumblr having fun revamping underlust. I do not agree with the subject of the au or anything the creator has done. This is all my own personal opinion and should not be taken to heart!)

(Trying to lean into more 70s theme with their designs since I feel like the 70s wouid be a fun aesthetic for them. Also the 70s kinda theme will be explained later for narrative reasons too)

Why am I posting about this? Well Eggs, ever since I got into UTMV, me and my friend have been discussing about UnderLust and our dislikes about it. Underlust is pretty disliked in the community already I believe. However, I couldn’t help but think of ways to redeem it. And the more I thought of ways to rewrite it, I realized I’m basically just remaking the whole AU. But I’ll get into rewriting the story of UnderLust later. This version of UnderLust I’m rewriting will be called ContraLust. I’m focusing on redesigning the characters before going into the story.

Anyways

When it comes to UnderLust, one of my gripes about it was its designs. The designs of the UnderLust characters are interesting, however it doesn’t speak… attractive(?) to me. I am aware UnderLust is about sexuality and more heavy themes around it, but you’d think the characters would try to dress attractive to draw in partners 😭. I understand this was old fandom UTMV but the clothes are just NOT it.

Frisk having an asexual shirt is kinda basic in my opinion. Making Frisk asexual is fine, but it’d be better to show, not tell, especially very directly. Sans and Papyrus… they’re just a whole bag of bones. The designs of sans and papyrus is… fine? But there’s nothin screaming sexy about it, especially sans. And Papyrus, the theme of underlust Isn’t really in character for him anyways but the outfit doesn’t really fit him too. I know it’s to fit with the AU’s theme but it’s just not papyrus.

Sans

So the whole reason I did this was mainly cause of sans, I mean considering I’m into UTMV. The original outfit of Lust Sans is interesting at best, I can see the vision however it’s hard to pull off cropped outfits when you’re a skeleton. So I stuck to clothing that mainly covers his whole body. I instead gave Lust a cropped jacket with longer sleeves, a sparkly jumpsuit with an upside down heart opening, along with a heart belt and boots underneath the bell bottoms. And yes I gave him the heart glasses like everyone else cause they fit lol. The sparkly jumpsuit wouid fit more in my opinion than a cropped shirt. To separate the two, I’m calling the original Lust, and my version “Sugarplum.” Sugarplum is is stage name in my rewrite anyways.

Sugarplum in ContraLust is more ruder than OG Lust, honestly he’s his own character now than just a classic variant. Plus classic just doesn’t really fit into the AU theme anyways(in my opinion). Sugarplum still holds a judgement and guardian role like classic, but he’s open about not being thrilled about it to Frisk. I mean sans watching over you in the game was because he promised Toriel he would. Instead of being sex-crazed, I made Sugarplum more money crazed. Lust, although commonly associated with sexual urges, doesn’t inherently mean having sexual desires. It’s mainly a desire for anything. Power, money, etc. Sugarplum isn’t as lazy as Classic but he doesn’t share the same apathy like classic. I could go in about Sugar but the post is already too long, so let’s move on

Papyrus

So, papyrus. I’m not particularly a fan of how they portrayed Paps in the au and comics itself. Although I appreciate keeping his sweet nature the same, he’s still seems OOC in the comics. Since there’s no royal harem in ContraLust, papyrus in my au isn’t actively seeking out dates and one night stands to reach up ranks. Plus there wouid be no need for him to wear a suggestive outfit. So I went back to inserting a 70s theme with him. Personality wise, papyrus is the same as his classic version, however he’s more calmer and less confident compared to Classic AU.

Frisk

Frisk’s design isn’t actually bad compared to the rest, however it’s a bit boring in my opinion..? But Frisk wearing the asexual flag is quite humorous I admit. But it’d be better if Frisk’s sexuality was shown, not told. Well it was shown but not directly shown. It’s be cool to where during a dinner scene sans is asking Frisk why they’re not interested in sex and all that and Frisk simply states, “Well I just don’t have interest for it. It kinda seems overrated in my opinion. What’s wrong with just holding hands or going out on dates? It’s still as intimate as sleeping with someone.”

But again I went 70s theme with clothing but I made Frisk’s clothing plain compared to the others, which is fine. In ContraLust, Frisk is a rookie journalist, venturing to the monster side to journal about the monster population. I’ll go into detail why I decided that in my rewrite post. But for now I’m more on focusing on designs.

Frisk is just… frisk idk there isn’t a change in personality. But ig compared to UL, CL frisk is more neutral.

Oh hiya Eggs, didn’t see ya there. Welp, it’s been.. nearly 4 weeks since I posted. I think idk but my last post was from last month so oops. I’ve been planning on posting but I’ve gotten sick and must’ve caught something. So yeah, this week hasn’t been fun for me, being sick and all.

So I’m probably gunna be inactive again for an unspecified of time. I’m sure I’ll get over my sickness fairly soon, but right now I can’t post stuff due to my schedule and uh *cough* sickness. I didn’t have my iPad with me so please enjoy my messy phone doodle than my usual art.

Sally & Lazari Designs

Lowkey don’t like how I designed Lazari. I might change her outfit later. Anyways this was last year and on a random night when I was doodling I randomly locked in and made these two.

I have revamp ideas for Lulu and the kiddos here(Lazari somewhat) so I plan to talk about that sometime in the future. Maybe.

Anyways this is part of my Wasp Virus au or whatever. Wasp Virus isn’t really a serious au. It’s mainly an au where I can reimagine some characters’ stories, designs, and etc. This is mainly for fun, so no disrespect intended to any of the original creators.

For Sally, I was surprised to learn that she was meant to originally die in the 1960s-1970s, for some reason my brain thought it was the 80s but no, she died around the 60s-70s.

(Okay so update, apparently the wiki updated her origin so her story is different than the old one. Idk if SA is still part of the story cause the wiki is vague. So my design for her is a bit outdated now but it’s fine idk.)

Anyways I decided to give Sally blunt bangs since little girl hairstyles in the 60s had those

I still kept her big voluminous curls though cause they fit her aesthetic. Instead of a dress she wears a pink hospital gown now, and I’ll explain that when I get to her story. But that’ll be another post cause I yap.

For Lazari, I decided to make her more grim and mature than Sally, instead of being 8 I aged her up to 9-10. Sally is technically older but Lazari is more mature than most children her age. Cause well, raised in a cultish setting. Again I’ll get to her backstory in another post. I wanted to give her more religious themes so I decided to change her middle name from Natalie to Narah. Narah originates in Hebrew roots and means “child/youth.” In other settings, it also means “light/brightness.” Which I made to be ironic. Ik Chibiworks made Natalie her middle name as a nod to Lazari being born on Christmas, but I’d love to see more religious themes w/ Lazari.

I do in fact, not really an au but like mostly just reimaginings/designs of some characters. Nuthin special but oh well :P

Anyways, my Crp au is called, Wasp Virus. It’s centered around my oc, Shay, mostly as the main character cause I’m such a narcissistic </3 (just kidding I just thought Shay fits as a character we can follow so we can explore lore and characters.)

Anyways let’s get yapping. Warning, is a lot, like a BIG block of text. If you’re interested in reading, you can but I’m a yapper. so sorry 😞

WASP VIRUS (Crp Au By Me)

WASP VIRUS; A symbiotic virus that is carried by parasitic wasps where wasp larvae are laid inside a host. This typically happens to caterpillars where eggs are injected into them. The larvae feed off the caterpillar until they’re grown enough and chew their way out. There is no hope for the caterpillar after as it will starve or succumb to infection after.

SLENDERMAN

The Wasp is what Shay calls Slenderman/The Operator. If you couldn’t tell, having slender as the wasp is fitting, from what I believe anyways. Though Shay is an oddball, so only they see Slender as a weird grotesque, cryptic wasp creature while everyone else sees him as the faceless man. Only Shay calls him The Wasp. Slender still goes by many names by other characters. (Ex. Tim and Brian call him the operator, Kate and Toby call him Slenderman, etc)

Whenever someone calls slender by a different alias other than The Wasp, Shay doesn’t know who they are talking about.

The Wasp is a being that is mysterious and is old as time. It likes hunting vulnerable people to feed into its sadistic game and keep itself alive. No one knows how this creature came to be, nor what it wants. But everyone knows it’s an unstoppable force that cannot be destroyed. Maybe if another force can balance it out, then things will start to get normal again.

The Wasp originally collected children as they were more easier to lure. But after failing to capture Kate, CR, and Tim when they were children, it suddenly realized people with weak minds were just as easy to lure as children. Soon, it started expanding its targets, and soon was after everyone.

Slender/Operator sickness is still a thing too, but it’s called Wasp Virus here (ayyy)

(Note: Slender still collects children, that’s why most proxies are young or were exposed to him young.)

How This World Works

Yay Worldbuilding! How my world works is really simple, as I don’t wanna over-complicate things.

The world is still normal like regular old earth. Though the supernatural exist(obviously.) The story takes place mostly in good ol USA. The characters live in various areas in America. Those who don’t, and live in other countries, are still present. I’ll explain soon.

The reality and grounded setting of this is what I’m calling reality. I know, so creative. Reality is where regular civilians and other members in society are in.

And then there’s the darker side of reality. This doesn’t really have a name since it’s still bound in reality, but the seedy, not so pleasant sides of it. Many creatures, poltergeists, uncanny beings, and questionably moral characters reside here. Reminiscent of a shady neighborhood, better watch your step. Perhaps there may be few nice folk, but you shouldn’t underestimate your luck. One bad choice can lead to your death or worse.

Setting is anywhere but I imagine it’s mostly in dense forests or barren areas where civilization isn’t the biggest.

(I’m going to be taking a bit from marble hornets, but this is my au so I’m only taking a few canon lore and reworking it to fit my version.)

The Realm Of Ark is where proxies, victims, and other folk who are under the Wasp Virus are in. It’s a realm where “The Eight Pages” forest is replicated and expanded so it can fit a good chuck of a population. This realm exists to hide or kidnap victims The Wasp wants, and provide for his proxies. Loyal or not. This realm isn’t very safe though. Despite The Wasp creating it, it doesn’t care to manage it. So many things are left unattended to, which leads to dangerous beings where proxies, victims, and others are both vulnerable to.

This realm can be accessed anywhere in the world via forest trails, tunnels, or abandoned places.

(Side Note: I made this realm so the Creepypastas and Proxies can interact without needing to be in the same place, cause how the hell are Kate and Toby gunna interact if Toby is in Colorado and Kate is in the Alberta province of Canada?)

PROXIES

What do these guys do? Seriously what do they do? When I was in the fandom back then, there wasn’t a specific goal proxies were meant to do, other than killing people. Even then, what was the purpose???

Here in Wasp Virus, the proxies are selected few that The Wasp deems worthy enough to have them help assist it. It’s not like they have a choice anyway. If they refuse, The Wasp will infect their entire bloodline, mindr@pe them, and make sure they have a slow, painful death. So yeah, no option to refuse anyway, unless you’re lucky enough to be deemed useless. But again, that just gets you to be a victim of The Realm Of Ark where your presence feeds The Wasp for eternity, or discarded and killed. So really, no one wins here.

Proxies have 3 goals:

- Make sure The Wasp is entertained and fed regularly. (Meaning they have to collect victims for him at least every other month.)

- Kill those who have the potential to expose the existence of The Wasp or The Realm Of The Ark.

- Keep The Realm Of The Ark at bay(make sure the monsters don’t ruin anything or harm The Wasp’s victims, and regulate it so other beings don’t mess things up)

The Proxies in exchange gain:

- Shelter(sorta)

- protection…? Actually not really

- Somewhat supernatural abilities. That’s more of a side effect really.

Yeah proxies dont really gain anything. Again, the purpose of them is to benefit The Wasp

Not much about them. The Creepypasta are just supernatural beings or slashers that coexist with other entities. There are some that are kinda affected by whatever the hell is happening with The Wasp but are mostly doing their own thing.

One time I had a dream where the creator of Nina The Killer announced that Nina x Kate was official, and that the studio that made Slender The Arrival agreed with the ship and decided it was canon. For some reason it was via yt format Idk why.

After NinaKate was canon, people on tumblr freaked out about the ship and fanart of the two was posted everywhere in the Creepypasta community

After that, I woke up dazed. I was quite affected by this dream and told my friend about that. After that, I became a NinaKate fan since. Which was funny because before the dream, I thought the ship was okay lol.

Meet EIR; The Demigod of Medicine & Healing

(Shipchild of Aretyr and Alexiares)

Eir is based off of Nordic Shamans and the goddess/Valkyrie, Eir, who is associated with medicine and healing.

(Unknown how Eir came to be, leaving that lore up to ARCHIVED)

Eir’s relationship with their parents are quite unknown considering he barely interacts with them. Aretyr is the only significant parental figure in Eir’s life, while Alexiares he doesn’t care too much about. He doesn’t have a deep bond with Alexiares so Eir is indifferent and has no opinion on him. Eir personally doesn’t see the similarities between him and Alexiares, but the traits he inherited from Alexiares are visible.

Although Eir has been fond of Aretyr when he was younger, he now finds Aretyr bothersome and tends to avoid him. He still loves and respects Aretyr, but Eir is allured to independence and his own interests. There are times he visits Aretyr, but in most cases Eir is off traveling, researching about herbs and other medical ingredients.

Idk much about about golden verse so forgive me for getting some things wrong abt the characters 🙏

I assume Aretyr is some sort of guard, so like his father, Eir wants to help people. But he isn’t as athletic as his father, so he makes up for it for his intelligence. Using his intelligence, he uses various herbs and other ingredients to make healing products and so on.

Eir tends to watch and interact with mortals more than the gods, he finds mortals more interesting tbh(His own version of undernovela lol)

Like his father, Eir is kind and loves helping others, but he’s a bit self centered and a bit of an ego. He takes pride in his work and gets competitive when he encounters someone with the same skill. He isn’t really a man baby but there are times he acts like a brat. Hey, he’s a lil rude but he has a heart of gold. I think.

(Just thinking of swap’s positive reinforcement of himself but more as annoying and entitled. Basically Eir)

Idk abt abilities but one idea I had is that similar to Alexiares’ tear strings, Eir can pull strings of vines out of his cheek tattoos. That, and Eir is immune to poisons and diseases. He’s the demigod of medicine/healing after all.
