It is now almost the end of 2022 and I am the complete product of my decision making.

From living in the “Blackberry” (Johannesburg ) and halting my touring career, to move to Hong Kong; I now find myself married (to a an amazing human I met in HK ) and in the US, dealing with an immigration process and doing my best to continue to learn perseverance as a tool to be.

Living as an artist has been challenged. I have made decisions that have deprived me of performing and I am finally ready to get back to this fundamental resource of mine.

I founded a business this year, NAB Curated Experience and hope to create an array of stuff that matters to me and my community come 2023

One of my last, very long tours, in 2018. A collection of memories I sometimes cannot believe I form part of. 

I chose to leave touring to pursue something different, a move to another continent and culture; I was in need of a change.

I am still in awe of theatres and to date find them a place of comfort, safety and belonging and I will return. 

Dada Masilo and Co. will forever have a piece of my heart...

A day in the life of the traveling performer 🇩🇪 It begins with inhabiting the theatre we are based at over the next 5 nights ( a while for the gypsy performer 🎭) oooh and there the nerves go... nonetheless, always in awe of the beauty that are the theaters here 🖤 Before training and rehearsal, we scram to get lunch at whichever establishment will avail itself ( thank goodness for the Asians ) The trading hours in Europe are bizarre; Exhibit A : a panel beater will remain open between 10h00 and 22h00 but god forbid a bistro open over lunch time #smalltowndiaries. Then into the studio we go for 3 hours and the day tends to end with an ice cold draught 🍻#cheers
