I figured I should make an intro post at last. So—hi! I'm Naf/Nafsi (she/her)! I'm 29, I live in Greece, and this blog is an amalgamation of all of my interests, so don't expect any cohesion LMAO
You'll mostly see me posting about Naruto (and more specifically Hinata bc she's my GURLLLL), but other interests are: A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Avatar the Last Airbender, and uh. Kpop! And many others, but these are usually the things I talk about the most.

My mom still has drawings I made in kindergarten XD I remember back in school, from elementary all the way to high school, whenever there was an art or theater project, the teachers would assign me to draw the props and backdrops LOL Obviously, my skills back then were not the same as they are now, but it just goes to show that I've been drawing all my life 🩷
My parents got me a Wacom Bamboo tablet when I was?? 11-12 years old? I used it for YEARS along with a pirated version of Clip Studio Paint, then around 2020, I switched to an iPad so I could draw on a portable screen with the legit version of CSP this time XD. Pricey af but worth it 👏 I'm now thinking of upgrading my entire setup so I can get an even bigger tablet (I'm thinking a Huion or XP Pen, maybe 16"-22"??) but I gotta get a proper pc for that first so......... long way to go!

Yeah so, I really liked the movie XD I think Yuta is a great character and I'm honestly excited to (hopefully) see him in the later episodes of the series. Rika was a BEAST, her relationship with Yuta was super interesting to explore. I'm glad we got to see more of Panda, Maki, and Toge bc I honestly like that team a lot---especially Toge and Maki, and I really enjoyed the dynamics between Yuta and Maki in particular (Panda is a shipper and you know what? I support it too XD)
I'm glad I decided to watch it bc at first I thought JJK0 was just a recap of season 1---which obviously isn't. It gave a lot of context into what's going on in S2, some stuff about Geto as well. I'm excited to finish S2 and see Yuta again, I think he became one of my faves XD
LOL I love all of your hinata het OTPs are my BROTPs😂 Not necessarily in an anti way, but more like their friendship would be soooo awesome. ESPECIALLY shikahina, I just think their friendship would be soo awesome man, and I love the thought of shika teaching hinata strategy. I like to think that because hinata isn't "girly" (she has a girly side, she's just too busy navigating her fucked up clan to think about all that stuff) in the way the other girls are, the guys are like by default interested in her. I hc shikamaru thought she was a twinky boy because of her jacket and haircut and only got to know during the chunin exams. Idk if canonically it makes sense but I think he believed that since he was sexist and thought girls had some hive mind and obviously if hinata were a girl she'd try to impress her crush like them? Idk it's just my excuse for having a mulan joke about hinata, because the writers are idiots.
That being said, I've read fanfics about pretty much all of them. Struggles of having a fav that neither the fandom nor canon understand.

This is honestly hilarious, I had never thought of that before XD I could definitely see it---Shikamaru, already not paying attention to much of what's going on in class, mistaking Hinata (which is a unisex name, so there's that too) as just a timid lil weird guy. Would quickly realize his mistake but he'd rather DIE than ever admit it out loud (Choji definitely knows and teases him about it. Shikamaru made him swear NOT to tell Ino, ever) 😆
I also hc the idea that Shika teaches her strategy. In many of my Shikahina scenarios, they play shogi and drink tea together while Mirai is napping or after they're done babysitting her, which is another way for them to bond <3 I think Hinata would be good at it after she learns the hang of it, making a few bold, surprising moves that would honestly impress Shikamaru. They're also both the kind of ppl who would enjoy silence together, which is another reason why they'd begin hanging out more frequently~
Hmm I've watched Kdramas before but I wouldn't say I'm into em. It's just hard to find something with a more serious tone (which is what I prefer when I'm watching shows/movies with real ppl) and I'm much more into action and drama than comedy and romance---which is what a lot of kdramas revolve around.
If you guys have any suggestions tho, do let me know! Cuz I do wanna watch kdramas, I just have a hard time finding something that matches my taste jkhljkh
For the suggestions, how about team 8 visiting kurenai when she pregnant and always helping her out with house chores and stuff since it's difficult for her now? And kurenai would look pretty in your art style

I did tweak it a bit to be during the newborn stage, because while I’m sure they did go over and help a lot during her pregnancy she probably needed more hands after Mirai was born since Asuma died 😭😭😭 and everything becomes so much harder postpartum, trying to keep a brand new person alive and loved while also keeping yourself alive and healthy and maintaining a cleanish home… it can be a lot for anyone, so I like the idea that they show up as much they can to help out, even if it’s just doing a few small things and talking to her about what’s been going on 😊
Kiba and Shino are bickering while they work and Kurenai and Hinata are talking amongst themselves
Mirai and Akamaru are both getting the best nap of their lives lol

Also adding a personal opinion here but KILL SP BORUTO ERA HINATA'S OUTFIT WITH FIRE OH MY GOD. LIKE GENUINELY WHAT WERE THEY SMOKING BC IT'S NEITHER PRACTICAL NOR STYLISH. IT'S LAYERS OF 4 DIFFERENT TSHIRTS STACKED UP WITH SHORTS AND HIGH BOOTS AND I'M LIKE WHY😭
Oh God, listen. We can all agree that in the show there have been MANY questionable fashion choices, alright?? Hinata is unfortunately another victim of that SOBS but there are indeed some outfits that I love for her! For the sake of this question, I'm only gonna include fits that have been featured on the show and not official art promos (which is a shame bc some of them are SO nice!)

The black dress (Naruto The Last)
LISTEN!! As much as I HATE that movie for many, many reasons, I love that dress on her. I've always preferred Hinata with darker colors instead of the pastels a lot of ppl seem to associate her with, so that fit was spot on for me 👌
(the first screenshot is actually from the mobile game, bc jesus I cannot stand the animation change from that movie onwards. I'M NOT BREAKING MY OWN RULE OKAY this is still a dress she wore in the official movie!!)
2. War getup (War Arc, Shippuden)
One word: BADASS!! Like I said, I love Hina in dark clothes, they compliment her palette so well!
3. The lavender jacket + meshnet combo (Shippuden)
Contradicting myself with that one but idc. Look at her. My cinnamon roll. My ray of sunshine. I bet that jacket is fluffy AF!! The pants are a little too baggy for my liking but not enough to take away from my overall liking of this fit 👌It's just... so iconic of her.
Honorary mention to her beige jacket in the original Naruto bc that I fell in love with her and her chopped hair and that overall design. What a smol creechur. An adorable fren. My lil blorbo <33

NO!! WHAT??? NO!!! WHAT IS THIS??? I don't like it, I DO NOT LIKE IT!! I 120% agree with you, Anon, that outfit deserves to BURN IN THE DEEPEST, HOTTEST PIT OF HELL!!!!
......With that out of the way, I gotta say, nothing in the rest of the list can compare to this atrocity, so everything after that is me mildly disliking/having a slight issue with her fits.
Anyway~
2. Ninja gear (The Last)
Okay so. Look. This is a probably a hot take bc a lot of ppl like this one. It's not that I don't like this outfit. It's honestly not that bad tbh. I like the fact that she's showing more skin, not bc she's showing more skin, but bc it means she's finally becoming more comfortable with herself and open to others that she feels okay with showing more skin. Does that make sense? Anyway, yeah I do like that, and the colors compliment her vibe nicely.
What I don't like is the fact that the creators clearly used it in a way to make her look sexier---purely for the male gaze. (There was no reason to animate her boobs move like that, alright? Alright. Honestly, it gives "she breasted boobily down the stairs" vibes, iykyk) (which is an issue with most female characters in anime tbh) Plus, I've seen fanart with way better designs for her that still keep her original vibe while giving her an outfit upgrade, which, imo makes more sense for her character. Idk, I honestly go back and forth with this one 🤷♀️
3. The blue shirt (Chunin exams)
Listen, I need to shake things up bc I can't keep including fits from Boruto or The Last. So I'm going with this one instead. It just looks??? ill-fitting for her, somehow? Like it looks too short and a bit tight, like it was meant for someone younger/smaller than her?? Idk. Plus I don't like the color. I do like Hinata in blue tones, but something about this one is just... not working for me.
Aaaaand that concludes my list of top 3 most fave and least fave Hinata outfits! I'm probably a bit boring with my takes I guess 😅 but Idc bc these are my honest opinions. If you want me to do another version ranking her fits from official art promos (and there are.....many of them) lmk!
