[Execution] The Cutting Edge
When they thought about it, they had hardly done anything wrong. It was an accident. Why should they be punished for such a thing? But it seemed like the time for talk had passed. The votes were in.
A rumble thundered through the room as a clamp snatched Nagisa by the neck and dragged them screaming out of the courtroom. Noises of fright and surprise faded to noise as they disappeared into the darkness. Seconds later, a screen proudly mounted to the wall flickered on and showed Nagisa on what seemed to be a stage. Or that’s what it looked like from a layman’s point of view, anyway. It all seemed so fake and cartoony from the trial room. Patches of noise or glitched screen adding to a surreal atmosphere. But for Nagisa?
It was real. All too real.
Surrounded by velvety rich red curtains on each side, they stand on a hard wooden floor. A spotlight has them reeling for a few seconds. It reveals the location of their trusty rapier, something they eagerly stumble towards and grab. Whatever’s going on… at least, with this, they stand a fighting chance. Hungry tremors echo and the walls, curtains, whatever they are, begin to close in on them. Panic begins to bubble up in their throat. Spotlights flick on to reveal opponents, a variety of Monokumas sporting fencing wear. They each take a stance and charge at Nagisa.
The Super High School Fencer has their title for a reason. With expertly choreographed movements, one by one, they best their foes, rapiers and epees sent flying, bodies kicked back. The walls continue to close in on them, but for now, they have power.
The spotlight is always shining, always revealing every move. They can’t make a flaw. They can’t disappoint people. It has to perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. That’s why they can’t afford to lose.
Body after body, fight after fight. They huff as energy begins to leave them but the spotlights seem to switch off. All of his foes have been defeated. The walls that threatened their life thunder to a stop and suddenly… applause fills the arena. Sweat drips from their forehead but they smile. Adulation… and pride. Perhaps this had just been another test. To prove that they are still a worthy and perfect Honami.
But life has never been that kind.
Scraping metal screeches its way into their ears and as they look up it is not curtain they see, but rather, a plethora of blades. All poised, pointed and ready to go.
One gulp.
No time to move.
Swords drop down and skewer Nagisa painfully, their body becoming more and more broken and bloodied. As blood pours from a million wounds, they look out into the nothingness where an audience should be. The clapping hasn’t stopped yet. Their eyes become tired, the pain burning and they almost attempt a bow before falling flat on their face, blood pooling onto the wooden floor.
The curtains slide shut as if nothing ever happened even though anyone can see the blood continue to pour down the stage.

“No!… I-I mean yes, I’m fine – but…” Alright, on your feet now. He palms his knees to pass any dust away before fully straightening up. Casting a nervous glance towards Nagisa as thanks, Nobu clears his throat.
“Um, no – I-I’m fine. I came to help, and… o-oh my God, can you do that?” Watching Tsukasa oh-so-easily lift the shirt of a boy who’d just days earlier had scared the living daylight out of Nobu, his face blanches further. By now it’s a competition of who could look more palid – the corpse or the magician.
Though he attempted an approach, Nobu finds himself looking anywhere but down. It’s still too much to bear, despite them not exchanging too many words he still saw Tatsuya alive, breathing, with his head screwed on correctly. He seemed so strong… maybe just because he was bigger and could yell louder than anyone Nobu knew, but that alone was just as impressive.
That thought silently connects with something he overheard Tsukasa mention to Nagisa. Tatsuya was strong, way stronger than most of the people he’d seen here – most. Gravity may have lent a helping hand if the murderer had missed a couple leg days here and there.
“H-Have… you checked up the escalator?” Looking back and forth between Nagisa and Tsuk– no, no – he’s still doing that shirt thing. Maybe just to Nagisa. But hopefully Tsukasa wouldn’t feel too left out.
“Hmm..? W-well, I think I can? It d-doesn’t count as altering the scene, and Mikami-kun’s d-dead, so…I don’t think he can c-complain much right now…”
As if it was natural, Tsukasa put down Tatsuya’s shirt again and stood up, figuring he had seen about as much of the corpse as he was going to right now. Now then, was there anything else of interest? He had zeroed in on the corpse for his examination due to bias, but there were probably more places to look for clues as to what happened. A murder weapon perhaps, though he couldn’t think of much that would be used for these types of injuries.
When Tsukasa turned from the corpse wondering where to go next, he heard Nobu’s inquiry and thought over it a bit. He hadn’t expected much meaningful contribution since the other boy looked like he would pass out any minute, but he had a good start as to where to look next.
“I d-don’t think we have, actually…there m-might be something there though, c-considering…there was a struggle and all…plus the location seems a bit s-strange…”
The fencer only raises an eyebrow curiously at the magician before shrugging and turning their attention back to the group. If said he was fine then who were they to pry? Even if there was a murder investigation going on Nagisa certainly didn't want to come off as pushy or rude. That certainly wouldn't help their public image in the slightest.
Staying silent, Nagisa simply crossed their arms as they watched the other two converse. Not like they had anything useful to add at the moment anyway. They couldn't help but hum slightly in amusement at Nobu's reaction to Tsukasa lifting up Tatsuya's shirt. As morbid as it is to admit, it's not like a corpse could complain much about it. Plus if it was in the pursuit of evidence then they supposed it wasn't too bad.
Still pretty dang weird though.
At the mentions of the escalator, They clasped their hands together with a smile. Ah, now that's a good idea! They turned to give Nobu and approving nod before looking back at the group.
"Well it certainly wouldn't hurt to look around, hmm?"
And because Nagisa was still grossed out and wanted to be out of the corpse filled subway at the moment. They'd rather be in a corpse free environment all things considered.

THUD.
Investigations and dead bodies weren’t a magician’s usual expertise. Pretending to kill others, sawing them in half, piercing their flesh with hundreds of swords – that kind of thing he could do. But actual, real, bona-fide death? Not a chance.
He had decided, upon receiving the revolting instructions to divide and explore, to instead sit back and observe others in order to see how it was done. Among their talents he didn’t recall any detectives or crime-scene experts, but low-self esteem led him to believe if anyone had a chance of successfully coming to any sort of conclusion, it wouldn’t be him.
And so wound up the sniveling Magician, watching the Fencer and Artist from a distance, quiet as a mouse. That is until, Lord have mercy, Tsukasa’s blunt investigation approach and the facts they had unearthed unnerved his easy-queasy stomach.
To the floor his weak knees went, palms slamming as he took a gasp for breath.
There was no use attempting to hide himself after such a cacophony. Instead, he immediately places attention on Nagisa’s last statement.
“…A-Ah… Ahaha… I-If you’re not feeling well, you c-can do … what I do…” And what’s that? The great magician’s super secret trick….?
“Um, I mean… If you just hold your breath for a while and count to one hundred… Ugh.” Catching sight of the gruesome display of their former classmate once again, his eyes flutter away as he just sits there on hands and knees, like a dog waiting for its food.
Tsukasa was about to go on about possible ways about possible ways a neck could be broken, but he gets interrupted when he hears a loud thud from a distance away. Oh, it seems someone else had been listening. That was the magician from before, Satoru or something…whatever his name was, he wasn’t taking the whole thing very well at all.
“Oh…a-are you going to be alright? You may w-want to be careful, it might start to s-smell like…well, dead body in here.”
Honestly, it’d probably take much longer for Tatsuya to flat-out rot, but death had a fairly distinct smell. Nobu would probably pass out if it got any worse, and more dead bodies were not what they needed for this investigation.
“Y-you’re right though, Honami-san, Mikami-kun was p-pretty strong…pretty angry, too. I d-doubt it was easy to take him down…hmm, are there a-any bruises on him…?”
Tsukasa crouches back down near the corpse, lifting up Tatsuya’s shirt to expose the stomach to check for other marks on his body.
"Besides the ones around his neck? I'm not too sure..."
They shrugged, being useless and not even bothering to get closer to the body to take a closer look. Tsukasa looked like he had Tatsuya's corpse handled so they were just gonna chill from afar. Thanks Nagisa.
Hearing a sudden new comer, Nagisa turns to see a familiar face. Oh, this was...! The kid whose name they didn't get last time they had spoken. Whoops. Either way, even if they didn't know his name, it seemed like he was fairing much worse than he was.
Approaching the magician, Nagisa crouches down besides him and gives him a worried look. They refrained from actually reaching out and comforting the poor guy, both cause Nagisa wasn't too big on touching people and they didn't want to startle him.
"Are you going to be okay? If you're not feeling too good perhaps it would be best to head outside for a bit and catch some fresh air? I'd be happy to escort you if you'd like."
To be a kind gentlemen and not to totally ditch the gross corpse in the subway of course.

Noticing the blood on Tatsuya’s fingers, Tsukasa held up the hand closer to so he could see it, noticing the scrapes of skin under the dead man’s fingernails. There hadn’t been any scratches on Tatsuya’s body from what Tsukasa saw, so it had to be from someone else.
“W-well…if I had to guess, I think…th-there was some sort of struggle down here. Enough to d-draw blood at least. M-maybe that’s important…”
Figuring this was as far as he’d be able to go on examining the body, Tsukasa dropped the hand to the ground and stood up, looking back to Nagisa.
“Yeah, it’s g-generally not pleasant. It’s p-possible to die instantly upon breaking your neck, but…r-respiratory failure implies that he suffocated from it. Plus, w-with the spine breaking…Mikami-kun’s death was probably excruciating.”
He wasn’t the most tactful when it came to Nagisa’s squeamishness about the dead body, obviously. Great job, Tsukasa.
In all honesty, Tsukasa was curious what those last moments looked and felt like. He figured breaking someone’s neck for real was a lot more messy than they portrayed it in the movies, and there was a lot more bruising as well. Even horror wanted to cover up some gruesome details apparently.
Now that he was done with the corpse, Tsukasa checked the surrounding area by Tatsuya, particularly searching for any other bloodstains.
After eventually growing tired of looking around the subway, Nagisa begrudgingly turned back to face both Tsukasa and Tatsuya's corpse with a sigh.
"Well if there was a struggle I don't believe Mikami-san would the type of person who would've gone down without a fight... He was quite the athlete, no? I’d imagine it would've taken quite the force to subdue someone like himself..."
They mused, crossing their arms as they tilted their head in thought. From what Nagisa had seen of Tatsuya's physique he seemed to be quite fit, and rather hot headed to boot. If blood was really drawn during some sort of struggle then they can’t say they’re surprised.
"Eeugh... What a horrible way to die..."
Those were a lot of details Nagisa didn't particularly want to hear. Turning away from the body, the fencer tried to take some deep breaths as they tried to regain their composure. Everything was fine, they were fine, they weren't about to get all sick in the middle of an investigation god dammit-
They’re gonna need a minute.

shsl-acrylics:
While examining the corpse, Tsukasa looks up upon hearing Nagisa’s yell. He isn’t surprised to see his fellow classmate rattled by the sight of a corpse; most people who hadn’t desensitized themselves were. Obviously, Tsukasa had been desensitized throughout his painting career, so he wasn’t phased by the idea of getting near a corpse.
“No, it’s p-pretty real…it’s been a while, so he isn’t w-warm anymore, but this is a corpse…”
As if to test his theory, Tsukasa reached for Tatsuya’s face and wiped the small trace of blood near his mouth. What smeared on his thumb looked and felt like blood, at least. Having a grasp of just how the injuries went, Tsukasa let out a tiny sigh.
“B-both his neck and spine…man, h-how did that happen? Someone must be v-very strong, or…got him to break it somehow. I have no clue…”
After that, Tsukasa grabs Miami’s closest arm to examine it as well, and whether it’s stiff with rigor mortis or not. The dead don’t have need much personal space, after all.
After seeing Tsukasa touch the blood near Tatsuya's mouth Nagisa was pretty disgusted to say the least. Euugh, that was blood. From a corpse. A very dead and not warm corpse. To be honest the fencer had been avoiding actually touching the body, who knows what kind of germs could be on there?? They didn’t wanna get corpse germs on their jacket.
Not wanting to seem rude, Nagisa nodded along but it was very clear with how grossed out they how.
"I see... But anyway, you do have a point. Unless it was injured in some other way you'd need to be quite strong to break someone's neck and spine like that..."
Wasn't something of that nature supposedly very difficult to do? Admittedly Nagisa wasn't an expert on these things, but they assumed so anyway. To have both his neck and spinal cord broken... Ouch. Unfortunately they were also at a lost as to how an injury like that could even happen.
"Still, what an awful way to go..."
While Tsukasa inspected the body more, Nagisa decided to not touch any gross corpses and get a better look around the bottom of the subway instead. Looking along the ground for anything that sticks out.
Investigation | Self Portrait Facing Death

Just when he was starting to get complicit in the filling smog of the city, it happened. It always seemed to happen that way, the moment you got used to the way things were, disaster struck.
“A body has been discovered!”
The announcement brought Tsukasa a mix of emotions. Foreboding, relief, anxiety, excitement…but more than anything, curiosity. He had to see the corpse for himself, so he took a look at the file he had been given. The subway was where he needed to go then. For a moment, his eyes catch the characters for the name “Mikami” and he feels a brief moment of fear before he finishes reading the name. Thank goodness, it was Tatsuya Mikami rather than his new friends; still, he hadn’t expected a brute like him to be the first to die. All the more reason to investigate.
Walking as fast as his skinny legs would carry him, Tsukasa reached the subway escalator, and upon reaching the bottom paused a bit seeing the corpse.
“…o-oh. The bear d-didn’t lie…”
So, this was what a dead body looked like in person. It was fascinating, like the unfortunate Tatsuya had been frozen in his last moments looking up at his attacker in shock. Tsukasa would love to tamper with the recently deceased further to see if things he’d read about how cadavers responded to wounds posthumously was true, but this time he’d have to restrain himself. He wasn’t alone in the subway, and there was a murder case to solve too. Still, someone had to observe the corpse, and it might as well be him.
Walking towards the corpse then crouching slightly, Tsukasa squints, trying to get a more in-depth look at the injuries on the recently deceased. Hopefully what he knew about what lethal wounds should look like could help him.
Of all the things Nagisa has wanted to hear, a body announcement sure wasn't one of them. While they had been noticing that the air seemed to be much more heavier and polluted from what their used to, Nagisa thought it was tolerable at the very least. They didn't expect someone to actually murder over it. Still in denial over the whole thing, Nagisa really wanted to believe it was all just another bluff. Just another scare tactic, right?
Unfortunately life just loves to be proving them wrong lately.
"Gaugh-!"
They couldn't help the sudden outburst, stumbling backwards in surprise. After finally reaching the subway, their face grew pale as the sight of Tatsuya's lifeless body. Oh my god??? Oh my god that's an actual corpse. What the fuck oh my god. While they had only spoken to the rugby player briefly before, he seemed like a generally nice guy even if he was pretty rough around the edges. And now he was pretty dead. Yikes.
Noticing a certain painter standing not too far away, Nagisa quickly straightened up and tried to regain their composure. Oh. That was slightly embarrassing. Oh well, now wasn't the time for that. Walking up next to Tsukasa, Nagisa eye'd him for a moment before returning their gaze down to Tatsuya.
"Ghh... I was hoping this was some kind of bluff but... This is much too life like.."
Nagisa shook their head with a frown. He wasn't usually one for getting up close and personal with people, let alone with corpses, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do he supposed.
Crouching down next to the body as well, Nagisa to try and get a closer look at Tatsuya's neck. It did not look too pretty as far as they could tell. Ouch.
Do you think you could forgive Gyo for that wild introduction?? I'm sure you two hadn't meant to hurt anyone's feelings!! Plus, given the strange situation anyone could be bound to have a bad time!! Who knows, perhaps you and Gyo can become friends later!!

As Yuuna was gently pushed away, she wiped her eyes and nose with her sleeve, trying to get herself back together. This wasn’t exactly the greatest first impression in the world, right? She must have looked like such a crybaby…Nobody else around here was sitting and crying away, right? Yuuna felt pretty embarrassed at this point, maybe even ashamed. Now wasn’t the time for self-doubt!
Deep breaths, just like the student said. She tried this, her eyes closed, and felt slightly relieved. Who knew doing such a simple thing could have wondrous effects so quickly!
“Ahh…thank you..! I really needed that..!”
She straightened her back and crossed her arms, still feeling pretty unsettled by the situation she found herself in.
“I’m Yuuna Mikami. It’s nice to meet you.” The girl looked the student up and down, and noticed the, “artwork” she left on Nagisa’s jacket. “Sorry about that, by the way.”
Approaching her new acquaintance, she inspected the tear and snot-stained spot that her cheek was just pressed into a few minutes ago. “Maybe we should get that cleaned up?”
Nagisa was quite relieved when Yuuna seemed to finally calm down. It was a good thing she listened and took their advice, god knows what else she would've cried on. Plus they were really bad with dealing with emotional people.
When Yuuna introduces herself Nagisa blinks for a moment. Ah, another Mikami? Were the two possibly related...? Ah well, it's probably none of their business anything.
"It's lovely to make your acquaintance Mikami-chan."
At the mentions of their jacket, Nagisa forced out a smile as to not let Yuuna know of their discomfort. They know she probably didn't mean to do it, but this was still their very expensive designer jacket... And now it was covered in snots in tears.
"Ah... It's quite alright."
Not really, but not like they were going to tell her that.
"While that's a good idea, I don't believe I saw a dry cleaners in this place... Not one run by people anyway. It's quite an expensive jacket and has some pretty specific cleaning instructions."

shslkyudoka:
“That is most peculiar.”
Misaki thought for a moment as she listened to Nagisa speak. That was what she had heard from several other students as well. Was this trait, the one of meeting with students before classes, common amongst all or just some of the students here? She paused.
“It seems, Honami-san, based on what I’ve gathered from others, that this memory of meeting together with other Hope’s Peak Academy students is a common trait amongst several students here, including myself.
Even the inability to recall anything past this point seems to be common amongst the others. It poses several, rather jarring questions, in my humble opinion. I can only assume that whoever is responsible for these events did much planning prior.”
It was a feat that Misaki was both disgusted and impressed at; The ability to manipulate a group of sixteen students into a trap like this and potentially even tampering with their minds. If it wasn’t being used against her, Misaki would like to know exactly how such a feat was accomplished. Surely, this was the plot of some greater group and not some mindless terrorist hoping for a ransom for the lives of Hope’s Peak students.
This was more sophisticated than that, and its complexity and thoroughness received an unacknowledged sense of respect from the young woman, something she would never openly acknowledge.
“I still wonder, who could be responsible for something such as this. The resources seem out of reach for even the most sophisticated of terrorists. Would this be apart of some greater scheme? And what would forcing us to harm each other accomplish?
Hostage situations often hang on the balance of the threat of death, not the encouragement of.”
"My thoughts exactly. Whoever did this must have set it up well in advanced. The kidnapping, this entire city, the talking animatronics... It would've taken extensive planning to set up something of this scale."
Sighing, Nagisa crossed their arms as they spoke. Something like this would have to require more than one person to execute right? A group maybe, but even large terrorist groups don't have the resources available to set something like this up.
While it was nice to discuss and theorize their predicament with Misaki, Nagisa could never seem to come up with any answers behind the reasoning of all of this. It just didn't make sense.
"I don't quite understand the whole reasoning behind this... Usually there's ransom notes or such involved with hostages right? People usually don't just let their hostages wander around a city like this, they'd want to keep a close eye on them. But this? This is quite strange..."
That sure is an understatement.

All smiles, this one. How they could be so calm after being informed of the apocalypse was a mystery, but… thinking about it, it was probably better than freaking out like she was. Ururu suddenly felt a bit jealous; she only felt that composed behind a screen…
“Oh… no, I…” Ururu shook her head at their offer, although her eyes never left the floor for too long. “I’m – quite alright, thank you–” A quick hop-step and bam – she stopped the little cup with the side of her shoe. One problem solved, but it only created another. She couldn’t reach down to pick it up while holding all her other spoils, and moving from her spot at all risked the ramen escaping again. It would be easy to just get a new cup, but it was the principle of the thing! This was about honor!
Awkwardly frozen in place, she smiled at Nagisa anyway. Maybe a winning smile would distract them from the rest of her foolishness. “… mmhm! Quite alright! P-perfectly fine!”
Unfortunately, her smile didn't seem to distract them very much.
Despite Ururu's claims, Nagisa could very obviously see she wasn't fine. After watching her hop right in front of a can of noodles and just... Stand there frozen in spot, they could differently tell that something was up. Either because of embarrassment or because her arms were full? Nagisa couldn't tell. They stared rather curiously at her for a moment, just watching her awkwardly stand in front of her fallen cup of ramen.
Either way, despite the idol saying she was fine Nagisa finally walked on over in front of her and picked the cup of ramen up. He placed it gently back in her arms with a soft smile.
"Here you go."

Not as embarrassing as the tumble he just took in front of someone new… But that’s nothing to be surprised about, considering his luck.
“Ah– uh– thum– Thank you…”
“I-I’m fine!” Quickly shaking the other off with an apologetic smile, Nobu instinctively scratches at his head, where no longer a weight sat. “Um…” His eyes dart around. “A-Are you okay?…”
It might be nice to ask, right…?
"Am I alright...? Ahaha, of course I am. No need to worry. Still, I'm glad to see that you are unharmed."
Nagisa shook their head with a small chuckle, they weren't the one who just fell over after all.
Upon seeing the magician scratch his head, Nagisa eye'd a certain hat that laid a couple meters away. Speaking of which... They should probably go get that. Before Nobu can even reply the fencer walks off to go pick up his fallen hat before coming straight back.
"Here, I believe you dropped this."
They hold his hat out to him with a smile. Dropped sure is a nice way of saying it instead of 'this fell off when you straight up fell over', isn't it?

Blackfin didn’t recognize this classmate either… Hm. But… Hey, his name seemed familiar. Normally he’d just think it’s a coincidence that this person had the same last name as a big athletics company but… He did just meet the prime minister’s daughter and Mina earlier that day. If that was any indicator this guy must be the real deal.
“Hey, wait! Honami like the sports company? You guys have probably made half the clothes in my closet at this point! Ay, are you guys thinking of making any kinda wrestling gear?” he asked, just sort of assuming Nagisa knew their entire library of products off the top of their head. “‘Cause if I could get my hands on a pair of gloves made of the same stuff as your MMA gear but without the padding, dude, I’d pay good money.”
"Aha, why yes, like the sporting company. I'm glad you like our products so much."
They nod with a polite smile. Seeing how they were going to take over the company one day it was always nice to see someone who bought a lot of their products.
Perhaps it's due to force of habit, but at the sudden mention of their family's company they get up from their seat and turns to face Blackfin. Standing up straight and clasping his hands together in front of him neatly. Casual Nagisa has now entered Business Nagisa mode.
"Well there has been talk about branching out a bit and making more products for everyone to use. When we finally return home I'll have to bring it up with my father, but I'll see what I can do."

“Not to mention, our circumstances are quite unique. I’m sure a lot of them are feeling are under inconceivable amounts of stress. Anything could happen, even a total accident!”
She ceased her playful movements and addressed Nagisa with a much more sophisticated posture. Her hands fell behind her back, and her speech matured significantly. The extent at which Minako could immediately change her presentation was nothing short of incredible.
“I appreciate your concern, but I assure you that it’s misplaced. As I said before…”
“Do not operate under any assumptions from first impressions~”
"True true. Not to sound rude of course but some of our classmates are quite... Brash? Hot headed? Something along that nature."
They admitted, almost rather embarrassed. To be quite honest he thought a bunch of Hope's Peak Academy students would be more... Calm. Considering Nagisa had to step in to nearly stop a fight earlier, they were pretty concerned for the well being of the others here to say the least.
Blinking curiously at Minako, Nagisa raised an eyebrow slightly as they watched her once playful demeanor suddenly turned into a something more sophisticated.
"Ah... Of course, my apologies then."
Hmm...Nagisa was never quite sure how to react to Minako. While she was polite enough, some of her words and actions left them rather confused to say the least. She was certainly quite the interesting individual after all.

Nagisa had a strong point - the fact that the outside the city, it was supposedly uninhabitable enough to require the use of air purifiers, but then, wouldn’t being here be beneficial to them? There were many questions that came up that had no answers, and it made the lingering headache Misaki had drift to and from the forefront of her mind.
“Perhaps the bear was bluffing. It seems that all our communications have been cut off, so there is no way for any of us to confirm that what he’s saying is true. I somehow feel that it may indeed, be a bluff, as the last I remember, the world beyond here was normal.”
What she could remember, unfortunately, felt hazy and dim. Was that apart of this scheme as well? It was hard to say.
“Ah, this reminds me, Honami-san, if you do not mind me asking, what was the last thing you remember before you woke here?”
They nodded in agreement. The bear's whole 'motive' just didn't make too much sense to them. They had to kill to get out of here, yet there were air filters that were going to be turned off which implied the outside air was bad? It just didn't make any sense.
"Likewise... As far as I know the world is perfectly fine, air included. OF course you’re right, there’s no way to tell if he’s telling the truth for certain, but I feel as if it's just some kind of bluff to try and scare us. Nothing more."
Well, that’s what they liked to tell themselves at least.
At Misaki’s sudden question, Nagisa had to pause and think about this one for a minute. Hmm... The last thing they remembered before waking up? While they hadn't forgotten it, the whole memory was a bit hazy to them to be quite honest.
"Ah, the last thing I remember... It was the first day of school and I was walking through the city crowds and such. We had all wanted to meet up in some park I believe? Although once I got there... Hmmm, I must admit it's rather hazy after that. I can't seem to remember much between that and us all waking up here.”
How exactly did they get from the park all the way to this city though? There’s no way they all passed out and got kidnapped in the middle of a park in broad daylight, is there? That just didn’t make sense.
