Ravens nails week 17

I made it! The 4th year in a row that I’ve done a Ravens mani for every single regular season game. This one is the most simple design for this season, been pretty busy with travelling and working and such, so I couldn’t dedicate too much time to my nails recently. I see now that purple wasn’t the best choice for glitter placement so hopefully you can still see them all because there’s a secret message when you count the stars per nail...2-0-1-8! Ravens nails week 14: Sunday Night Football!

I re-created an old mani to compare how my new lights can show off holo... but it didn’t really work?? The glitters from both manis have holo glitter and you would never know :/ :/ :/

Someone help me, what am I doing wrong? I’m using direct light, maybe it’s my camera? There was no different between my iphone5 and Sony point-and-shoot.

Week 9 Ravens nails

I got a new football stamping plate and I just HAD to use it. I little bummed that the words are so big that you can’t read most of them, even on my nails which are pretty big. But if you take the time to look, you can definitely pick out some football-ish words.

Polish Alphabet “S”

This is one of the oldest polishes in my collection, I think I got it at a birthday party in the 7th grade.The formula is terrible and patchy and that may be due to old age, but regardless this is never going to be a polish I reach for because I have similar ones with much better formulas. This one is doomed to the Reject Box.

Now and Then: Halloween Edition

Okay, full disclosure unpopular opinion.... I don’t like Halloween. I don’t ever dress up but I will occasionally do my nails in a theme that functions like my nails are wearing a costume. A few years ago I did Spiderman nails and I loved them! I also did these Batman inspired nails then but I ran out of time and had to finish in the car (so they’re a mess) and this is the only picture I got before ruining them (more) while I was out of town. I took it in the car. So I never ended up posting them. Also my cuticles were such a mess! I’m kinda embarrassed to show these now.

But I really like this charm and Batman is a nickname of mine that I do use in my real life, so obviously I needed to re-do it, only better. I was going for the bat-symbol, ya geddit ;)
