Why don’t more people talk about junpei.

So I’m hanging out with a friend right, and she has me watch jjk with her. I go into this knowing a lot of fragmented lore about a lot of different events going on.

Nowhere have I ever heard about this Junpei kid. And we do meet him and I’m like woah your sorta insane bud. He grows on me. He meets Yugi. He grows on him (more like the other way around). And then his mom dies. He gets manipulated by this evil baby (mahito) and then dies. Actually not dies HE’S KILLED by one of the two people he trusted. And that was actually the worse, we see what could have been we get a fucking vision of a future with him at jujitsu high, it’s even in the opening, and he dies.

I didn’t think I was going to cry about this anime, I was wrong.

poe helping out ranpo constantly is the funniest thing ever to me. every other redeemed charachter gets a clearcut ending like kyouka is a legitimate member of the agency and lucy is a waitress but wtf is poe doing? is he being paid? is this freelance? is he doing this just for love of the game? the agency is going through horrors incomprehensible and he’ll wander onscreen like yes, hello, i’m here to help solve your problems because my “rival” told me to. goodbye. and then he just fucking leaves

I love how the live action makes it clear that deep down all the Straw Hats are in love with each other on some kind of metaphysical plane of multiversal platonicism and that it doesn’t matter which ship you like you’re going to get a little bit of all of them because they wouldn’t choose anyone over the others. They’re one big whole.
