Possible spoilers for season 3 ??? My appreciation of grandma
I was positively suprised that Gia's grandma warmed up to Smoothie.
Her interactions with Kenji and the baby was so wholesome. I loved it. Kenji needed this amount of comfort. From an elderly woman no less. Since we don't know what happened to his mother, he must have needed some type of 'motherly figure'. Especially after such traumatic experiances.
I loved how Gia's grandma took one look at Kenji and thought- "i will shower this young man with care" xD She somehow saw that he was in so much pain.
My heart couldn’t take their fight. It was a reckless of her to leave Smoothie alone. My thought was that she thought of him as a puppy xD like, he'll take care of himself.
But her showing that she cares about smoothie as much as others- GAAAH.

Possible spoiler of the jwct season 2 trailer ? Though i'm mostly ranting about hair.
I really like how they showcased the passage through time and how the environment took a tool on the teens by changing their hair to look greasier, more tangled and messy.
It's something that suprised me to see in a 3d animated show because usually this type of effect doesn't last long. Like wet hair for an example.
I was a little dissapointed to see that change in the last seasons of the show. Their clothes looked dirty but their hair looked fresh and neat. It's a small detail, but one that i truly appreciated.
Maybe there was some alternative that they didn't showcase. Like them having showers at May's place. Just like on Isla Nublar after they build their bunker.
I know it must have taken the animation department some time to create seperate models for each sitution. Although i can't help but wish they brought it back.
To see them in Chaos Theory season 2 all dirty, greasy and stinky. To see how the jungle treats them. For them not to look like models but survivors and explorers !

The beginning of season 1
Through out season 1 to 3 i believe- can't remember. After that the kids got a haircut change. Which is understandable. Another detail i loved was the fact that their hair grew longer. (Execpt for Ben *cough*) However the greasy, tangled, messy effect did not stay.
So yeah. Maybe they didn't have enough money or the studio wasn't bothered to continue this trend. Idk. These are just my thoughts :p
I don't think Brooklyn is the villain, I have a theory

Brooklyn has always been very curious, and there's no way she's stayed still all these years without getting into trouble. When Brooklyn and Kenji break up, she started all of this because she knew that what she was going to do could cost her life, the life of her boyfriend and her friends. That's exactly why she visited her friends before being "k1lled". Don't all these visits sound like a goodbye?
After the visits, she went after Mr. Kon (for those who remember correctly, Kenji's father), to get the money and continue investigating something that, as she said in the trailer, is much bigger than she ever imagined. That's why Mr. Kon said she revealed she was willing to get her hands dirty and that's why she "said goodbye" to her love life and friendships. She wants to go after the evil mind(s) that are behind the smuggling, mistreatment and trafficking of dinosaurs.
When she burns the photo with the 6 of Nublar, that is, her best friends, it is not because she is the villain, nor because she wants to erase evidence (almost everyone knows who the 6 (six) of Nublar are, so it would not even make sense), she burns it as a symbol that she is willing to erase/"burn" the past or her friendships to continue her investigation. She is no longer the same Brooklyn we know because she put herself on another level, it is not possible to be the same after what she went through investigating this whole event, abandoning everyone she loves and losing a piece of her body.
And finally, she tried at the last minute to contact Darius because he always had the best decisions and strategies, but since she was attacked, the idea to "play dead" would obviously sound better and keep things more safe.
I don't think she did all this so her friends would find her out later. The fact that her friends found out about her is because it is almost inevitable, you leave traces. It's hard not to find evidence when they're desperate to find something and when they're also in the same danger of death as her, apparently from the same organization.
What are your opinions? I welcome corrections and additions to the theory (my first one lol)!
Dreamworks has the best couples/relationships ever. The thing I've always admired about their couples is how mature and well-developed their relationship is. How one respects everything about their partner, gives each other time to build trust, and also helps each other become the best versions of themselves. They rarely (or even never) say "I love you" to each other because their actions are powerful enough to evoke that.
Also: the characters individually are some of the most well-developed characters in animation (yeah, I said it).
So yeah, these are just my thoughts. I just adore DW's characters and ships.
