Oh wow, and you so called this right - I adore it. The relationship dynamic between these three (the term “love triangle” doesn’t do it justice) during the Golden Age fascinated me so much (whereas now it just makes me sad) because there is just so much love there and the balance between these three is a huge factor in what will eventually change the shape of the world and each individual relationship inside it gives me so many feelings. So it makes me very happy to see art of all three together. And looking so happy.

And yes, the composition! Griffith looking at Guts, Guts and Casca twining hands behind his head, Griffith’s left hand trailing over Guts’ lips and his right cradling Casca’s head and holding it to him…yeah this is so perfect it hurts.
