Yesterday, I did my first ever pop up holiday market hosted by Asian American Art Alliance at their December Town Hall Event. And first off, I wanna say the real mvp...is my mom! She had a full long day at work and she willingly helped me trek in the depressing and merciless weather in the wet rain, mounting around a huge luggage with all of our knitted and crocheted goods across the mta and city. Despite the gloomy weather conditions, there were a few wanderers and shoppers that came out to support us young, local, and sprouting artists! business was a bit slow at first but sales picked up later (after begging them to help pay off my student debt HAHAHA). it was a huge learning curve for an amateur like me and it was super delightful to meet and be within the space of so many other talented asian artists near me♥️ also, really happy that I made a few new friends as well. Now to build my inventory and invest in better set up equipment so I work on making a grand display the next time I table. #indieart #handcraftedawesomeness #popup #holiday #nanaskollectionf (at W83)

my students and I just finished creating our exhibit piece to highlight their hard work! They put together a duck automobile that is currently being hung from the ceiling among all other other exhibiting pieces by represented 40+ artists all over the world. Within a few months, these 2 have strengthen their finess in crochet/knitting!!! I am so proud of them :D (at RESOBOX)

Materials E/F/G Crochet hook Level 4 Medium Yarn and Color of your choice Black Brads or Safety Eyes

Ears (make 2) R1: 5 sc in Magic Ring. (5 sts)

R2: sc, inc, sc, inc, sc (7 sts) R3-7: sc 7 F/O, and leave a tail to sew onto head

Head R1: 6 sc in Magic Ring. (6 sts) R2: 2 sc in each st around. (12 sts) R3: *sc 1, inc*, rep 6 times. (18 sts) R4: *sc 2, inc*, rep 6 times. (24 sts) R5: *sc 3, inc*, rep 6 times. (30 sts) R6: *sc 4, inc*, rep 6 times. (36 sts)

R7-10: 36 sts R11: *sc 4, dec*, rep 6 times. (30 sts) R12: *sc 3, dec*, rep 6 times. (24 sts) R13: *sc 2, dec*, rep 6 times. (18 sts) R14: *sc 1, dec*, rep 6 times. (12 sts) R15: dec 6 (6 sts) F/O, stuff. Insert eyes between rows 8 and 9 and eyes should sit 6 sts apart.

Arms (make 2) R1: 5 sc in Magic Ring. (5 sts)

R2: inc, sc 4 (6 sts) R3-5: sc 6 (6 sts)

F/O, and leave a tail to sew onto body

Legs (Make 2) R1: 6 sc in Magic Ring. (6 sts)

R2-5: sc 6. (6 sts) F/O only for one leg, and leave a tail to sew the gap. Leg #1: No F/O Leg #2: Yes F/O

Body (Continuation from Legs) R6: Using leg #1, Ch 2 and attach leg #2 by picking up the first stitch of the round and do 6 sc around leg #2. Ch 2 again and do 6 sc around leg #1. Use the tail to sew the gap in between the chains closed. 6 sts from leg #1 + 6 sts from leg #2 + 4 ch = 14 total sts R7-14: sc 14 (14 sts) R15:  2 dec, 6 sc, 2 dec (12 sts) F/O, and leave a tail to sew onto body
