âI guess one of my questions would have to be this. Many of the girls in this group that were affected by the unfulfilled sales I personally rounded up off of the comment threads myself - one by one and in mass groups I told you guys to come here to have a better chance at getting a refund.
These were public comments that I - a completely irrelevant nobody in all of this using my own time outside of my own job - cared enough to observe, acknowledge and address one random Saturday morning within an hourâs time. There were over fifty of you that day alone - making the issue abundantly clear and reflecting customer losses into the thousands of dollars.
So my confusion is that if it was very obvious by about fifty+ comments on the different EYBS sales threads that orders were not being fulfilled by some random outsider that I went the extra mile that morning, why couldnât Tess do the same at any one time within the past ten months? Why wasnât she the one that took that time to do that, to be concerned for those orders and respond to them if she genuinely cares and is so appalled by this? These issues have been documented all over her social media for months - many of you being rudely responded to or dismissed by her mere comments above the one that I would refer you to this group to help. Why are we acting like this was genuinely only obvious yesterday?
And further, if she does sincerely care about any of this and is so appalled by what has happened to her fans, why is she not publicly asking on the page associated with her Tess identity if there is anyone else who has an unfulfilled order dating prior to the summer presale? Surely we know that while this group has grown unacceptably large it doesnât contain everyone - it contains girls that read comment sections on Facebook and saw myself and others referring them over to this group and mind you, getting very heavily attacked by her other fans that listened to Tess dismiss us with âall orders have been dealt withâ while doing so. There were a few girls on Instagram that even replied to me saying thank you, but Iâm not on Facebook.
Why is her concern not focused on the fact that there is a clear unfulfilled product issue but rather on the squeaky wheels who managed to find their way to this one Facebook group? Itâs something to critically think about. If she was genuinely appalled, that post would be public, she would WANT to see the true number of people affected by this by presenting the largest platform of visibility, and she would want to fulfill all of those orders or provide their money back. I guess that is largely behind why all of this rings a bit hollow here.
And I do find myself a bit perplexed in addition to all of the EYBS missing orders that no one has brought up the unfulfilled orders that arose from her personal wardrobe sales in 2013 as well. While time is on Tessâs side with these (in that those girls have long given up and comments have been buried outside of a couple of screenshots), being a member of the Fattoo resale groups I recall girls having the same desperate accounts to contact Tess about their missing orders only to be blocked on social media. Fattoo has actually banned Tess from selling in their group because of these accounts that arose back then. Am I to ignore this same pattern of behavior existed before EYBS even came around and an imaginary team was to blame for the same problems of unfulfilled orders and social media blocking this past year?
I am, at a minimum, glad to see some of you getting resolution. I urge some of you to realize that there are some of us who have been voicing these concerns for a very long time now - not just a day, not just a month - that itâs grown tiring and the same cycles seem to occur: try to be vocal about the events weâve seen occur in the past, get dismissed by Tess, get attacked by fans. Itâs been⊠exhausting and thankless - on the contrary we are usually the ones attacked and Tess is thanked.
At the very least this time it appears there has been some payoff with some of your orders now being honored. I just hope once all the dust settles you will all be able to have the freedom at that time to critically examine the events that have taken place here and be cautious in where your trust lies. Best of luck to all parties involved. â
