That shrinkage from the other day inspired a much needed hair cut. This tektite inspired artwork which included turning it into jewelry. September feels like it’s going to be a dope month filled with inspiration and moving forward with fermenting ideas. I hope it’s the same for you. ❤️

3 years natural. 2 hours flat iron.

After 3 years of the fro I decided to try something different…not pleased. I miss the naps already.

So I’m preparing to flat iron my hair after maybe 3 years of no heat. This is my blow out without using heat. Man, I have a lot of hair 😱

This girl and I are on the same page. Doing mine this week because this full-time school and work thing makes maintaining my hair a handful. I literally have no time to do twist outs daily and I have to look decent for my job, as I'm representing the company. Not saying natural hair can't be neat, but that I can't maintain the neatness though out an entire week.  It wont be permanent, but I think I’ll straighten it every other month....we’ll see.
