Pepper raised her brow, pondering the thought of going back to Italy. “I think that could be fun,” she said, leaning into him to cuddle him more. “Oh, we could rent out that private villa at that resort we’ve been to before… Cipriani, I think?”
"Yeah, we can do that." Tony said with a smile. "Or we can rent a villa on the coast so the kids have more privacy." He offered as he rubbed her back.
“Hmm…” Pepper hummed, thinking about it for a moment before smiling. “Well, we could take them to Disney,” she teased. “But I was thinking we could take them somewhere nice and warm, with a beach. As much as I love being home, I think we just need some time away from here.”
"Maybe Italy?" Tony suggested as he rubbed her sides. "The kids have never been and its been awhile since we've been."
Stroking his cheek, Pepper sighed softly. She knew there wasn’t much she could do to take away the pain, but it didn’t make her feel any better knowing that he was in pain. “We’ll just have to talk about stuff to keep your mind off the pain,” she teased gently. Looking at him, she offered a small smile. “We should take a vacation this year, what do you think?”
"Yeah? Where do you want to take the kids?" Tony asked as he smiled slightly. "A vacation does sound nice."
Reaching up to stroke his cheek, Pepper offered him a small smile. “I hate when you’re in pain,” she told him. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
"i know you do." Tony responded as he leaned into her touch. "It just phantom pain from the stones, Pep. I don't think theres anything we can do."
"Mhmm..." Pepper wrapped her arms around him, leaning in to steal a quick kiss. "Okay, just tell me that you're going to do that next time. I promise I won't freak out."
Tony chuckled as he kissed her back. "I promise I'll tell you next time but don't worry. I hope i never have to deploy the new suit." He said while he rubbed her sides.
“Mhmm,” Pepper smiled at him. Tilting her head she looked at him. “How’re you doing, honey?”
"I'm good, just a little sore." Tony said with a smile as he sat back down, pulling her into his lap.

Tony chuckled and came over to help her up. "Things have changed, honey." He said as he pulled her close. "Just making sure the suit can still fit you if needed."
