It's been like 5 years since my last icon update anyways.

Saga's first use of Divine Smite, where she maxed out the damage. Happens immediately after an undead abomination rips out the eye of her friend in 'retribution.' Our DM seems to be rolling with a horror theme for this campaign.

She's also angry for having to pay for someone else's sins yet again.

Forget (2019)

Forget v 1a: to lose the remembrance of b: be unable to think of or recall 2: to treat with inattention or disregard.

Rei’s life is defined by memory, whether she acknowledges that or not. She’s haunted by remnants of it and does her best to live despite it. She’s a character that I’ve had for a very long time and has changed drastically over the years, but at her core, Rei represents the possibility of overcoming the horrors that appear in life.

Eteros (2019)

Trouble stirs beneath the ground and three crowns emerge from the darkness, each touched by the Mad God Cyric himself. Standing at the precipice of chaos are three heroes—not exactly the ones they needed, but they’re the ones that showed up.

It took over a month to complete but it’s finally finished. I’m really proud of this piece. Not only is this the heaviest-character piece I’ve done but it’s also a huge improvement on how I treat color, form, and lighting. It’s a gift piece but it’s also a piece to show how far I’ve come in the last year.

Also: I’d like to cite ABDIllustrates as a big source of inspiration for this. Nearly the entire time I referenced his use of color and how he goes about applying that which helped me immensely as I usually tend to go too dark. He’s very talented and has inspired me in my own creativity a lot in the last year.

I did a thing. ALSO, MY BABY HAS A MAGIC CLOAK.

No, but seriously, it was wicked cool. He was playing a racing game with a dragon over a pull of acid (it’s a… story) and right before he’s about to win the dragon knocks him away from the entrance and into the acid. My DM asked me what Corrin was thinking about, so I gave a very Corrin answer:

Me: He’s thinking about how the legend of Corrin Tealeaf is that he was killed playing in a pit of acid.

DM: He’s not thinking about anyone?

Me: No. Of course he is. He’s thinking about his aunt, his former friends, even his companions Torvald and Silaqui. They’re the reason he’s here in the first place. He couldn’t just give up.

DM: Corrin is falling into the acid, right into the shadow of the boulder, thinking about that damn dragon and how it would be the end of you and that you would never see your friends or family again. The darkness surrounds you and you appear in the entrance. Your cloak has changed.

Corrin: *no clue as to what just happened* *puts hands on hips and grins* And that is how you win a game.

For the record, I screamed.

Mr. Ow (2018) - Digital

Includes process!

Mr. Ow is a character design based off an old stuffed animal of mine from when I was child. I collected as many pandas as I could when I was younger and eventually it became a joke that they were my "Panda Mafia" with Mr. Ow as the hitman. He still sits in my room to this day. :)
