Okay, let me just straight up say this. NO ONE GIVES A FLYING FLIP THAT THIS GUY ISN'T DEAD No one thought he was dead! He said, clearly, "I surrender!" So he doesn't have to be dead!

Have I mentioned just how much Gon reminds me of Goku? Like seriously, time and again. He's like Goku in personality, but much more aware of himself/his surroundings.

I'm pretty sure I already mentioned how much this reminds me of Naruto, but damn, this reminds me a lot of Naruto.  The exams, the trickery - it's almost like a copy. Which came first, anyways?  HxH or Naruto? -looks it up- Wow, it's really close, but it looks like HxH came out first.  I knew Kishimoto drew a lot of his inspiration from Dragonball, but I didn't realize how much he also drew from this series as well.

Though I did like that Gon readily admitted that he didn't know exactly what it meant to be a hunter, and the risks involved.  It shows that he has some maturity.

And then of course THIS had to happen and remind me just how much of a kid Gon still is.

AAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I’m such a freaking idiot!

I’ve just (finally) gotten into My Sweet Proposal’s “New Year Day” event, and I really want that first sunrise background, right? So I have to beat every character’s route twice. And I absolutely adore Sakura, so I played his route once, and, without thinking, thought “I’ll just play his route again now!” So I go through the whole route again, and the whole time I’m like “Wait, so where does the route diverge??” Apparently I needed some amulet to play his second route, which it said I didn’t have, and as I didn’t realize that it was for the second route (I thought it was just some premium route or something??) I totally played the first route all over again! I wasted like, 5,000 some bouquet points for nothing! And the real kicker was -- I DID have the amulet all along! I just had been in such a rush to play Sakura’s route again that I didn’t realize that I had to receive it first from my present box! SO NOW I HAVE TWO AMULETS FOR SAKURA. I’m just, I’m dying, I’m dying.. I’m .. I can’t.
