I mean, we already know that Gai brought in a number of specialists from other fields to tutor Tenten if she wanted to practice in something outside of his expertise, like when he got the medical corps to train her for a bit, so he’d definitely enlist Kakashi for some ribbon twirling expertise. (I imagine he brought in Genma for sharpshooting practice, too.
