//Home Bound🌾🌼
In any normal situation, Jack would have fired at the stranger the split second they even thought about reaching for their gun. As this was not normal he was somewhat distracted and heightened from the confusion of the birds, the gender reveal only served to further puzzle the gunslinger. Jack had zero respect for women unless they had proven themselves deserving of it and even then he considered himself more important and only hired them to keep his ass from getting killed.
The birds were creepy enough by themselves, finding out they were somewhat trained to do her bidding didn’t exactly help matters. The way he figured it, she had to be a witch of some sort - which made perfect sense now that he knew she was not a man. However, she had mentioned that she found him handsome so he was willing to hear her out for the time being.
“Who are you anyway?” Jack asked her. “Why are you goin’ around dressed like that?”
The boy’s enthusiasm was not lost on Jack but in all honesty he did expect Gage to simply fall off the horse once it got going, the toddler was so small a broken neck was almost guaranteed. Not that Jack gave a shit about what happened to the boy, at least not yet anyway.
He gave pause when Gage took his hand, looking down at the tiny boy with a puzzled expression. After a moment or two, Jack closed his fingers around the little hand before leading the toddler out to the horses. One situation they would most certainly be in sooner or later was a quick escape, this meant Gage would need to be able to hold onto him tightly while they rode a galloping horse out of town.
“You’ve only got one shot at this, boy.” Jack warned the toddler. “I don’t care what you are, fallin’ off this here horse is gonna hurt real bad.”
Jack’s horse was very tall and very fast, it’s why he had chosen it to begin with. He climbed up into the saddle and then lifted Gage up to sit behind him.
“Hold on real tight.” Jack warned him once more. “If you fall, I ain’t comin’ back for ya.”
Jack didn’t believe in a person’s ability to command a species of animal, whatever had made these rats attack had to be something else. Yet when they seemed to obey Talon’s demand for them to leave, he didn’t exactly have much choice but to believe his own eyes. It made him suspicious of Talon, it felt like some kind of witchcraft or dark magic to him. Sure, the explanation was encouraging and it sounded like a mighty fine plan but Jack couldn’t get over the fact that humans shouldn’t be able to have animals at their beck and call.
It just wasn’t natural.
“So what are ya, then?” Jack began to slowly circle Talon, looking him cautiously up and down. “I want an answer and I want the truth. I’ll know if you try lyin’ ta me, got it?”
There had to be an explanation as to why these rats appeared to have obeyed Talon, they were wild rats and there were hundreds upon thousands of them. There was no way Talon had managed to tame and train them all. Something was very off here and Jack was determined to get to the bottom of it.
“You’ve always been kinda strange.” Jack poked at Talon. “But I’m the one holding the pistol here, so you can either speak up or you can call those little critters back for dessert..”
Tranquil
“Sure, I’ll share my fire.. if you share that there food you got.”
“Two cowboys have a duel, which one goes tah heaven?”
“The holier one.“

West Center Street, Anaheim, California, in 1887. This is where Disneyland now sits!
There really wasn’t too much Olivia could do in that moment, she was too dazed to even form a comprehensible thought in her head. She was dizzy and overstimulated, her body simply refused to do anything she willed it to. So she just lay there a complete mess. Nobody had ever been able to do such things to her as Jack had done, he made her feel so helpless. She felt like she actually wanted him to overpower her and do all of those things to her, despite it making her look weak and submissive in front of him and his cronies.
She was in two minds about the whole situation because she really hated looking like she belonged to anyone, she was a control freak and always had to be on top of everything and everyone. Now this man had come along and made her into a simpering slut, giving in to him every single time and letting him have his way with her. It was outright humiliating and it was about to get much, much worse. He was going to parade her around town, on a leash, completely nude.
She tried to lift her head but all she could do was moan and close her eyes, waiting for him to come back into the bedroom and tell her what to do, berating her the entire time.
Jack was having the time of his life here, he knew the power and control that Olivia could have over anyone and everyone - including him, yet she made no attempt to do so. The power was all his and he gloated it to her whenever he felt the desire to. In the back of his mind he knew it was merely a loan of control, that he only had it because she allowed it. She had given it to him and she could just as easily take it back from him, or could she? It did not seem like she was having an easy time trying to gather her wits. Perhaps he had broken her, made her succumb to his will, an inadvertent side effect of allowing someone like Jack Sikora to have you at his mercy.. Whatever was happening to her mind, he felt pretty damn sure she hadn’t actually been counting on it.
“I’ve never really been a pet person.” Jack held a bridle up for Olivia to see. “But I do like me a good, hard workin’ horse.” He got closer to her and placed the brown leather around her head and face, adjusting it to fit when she showed little to no signs of resistance. Once he was done, he gave it a tug and when she yelped, he shoved the metal Bit into her mouth.
“There we go.” Jack pulled her into a standing position by the bed, looking her up and down to admire her nude body. He smirked. “All ponied up and no place t’go?”
Jack pulled her toward the door. “Let’s fix that, c’mon.. giddyup!”
Impressed wouldn’t be quite the correct word to use in order to describe Jack’s reaction to what he found behind the Saloon, he had waited for a few minutes to give Talon some time before he got up and followed after the strange man. Talon was known to Jack only by sight, he’d seen the town’s undertaker here and there but he’d never really bothered the fellow until now and even then it was Talon who had approached Jack in the first instance. Rounding the corner, a gruesome sight greeted Jack and his small group of outlaws.
Now, Jack was not a fan of small, furry creatures at all. Most animals were on his ‘shit-list’ for one reason or another, so he was not about to get too close to this sudden hoard of rats. He studied the movement and realized momentarily that they were eating, gnawing and scrambling over a dead body. It was human, he decided after a while, not an animal carcass that Talon had stumbled upon. Was this the rival outlaw that Talon had dragged outside? Jack glanced around into the darkness of the empty streets and surrounding woodland. It had to be, as Talon simply did not have enough time to have dragged the body anywhere else out of sight of here.
Jack glanced back down at the squirming rodent pile before he lifted his gaze to meet with Talon’s. He sure looked mighty proud of himself..
“You wanna explain this shit to me, boy?” Jack rested his hand on the gun at his hip. “Get those goddamn rats outta here!”
