“Oi! that was the last one!”
“Okay, bye.” Jenna hung up the phone and turned her attention to the person n front of her, “Sorry about that, what were you saying?”
Nat folded her arms across her chest. “Actually, you were asking me about those bloody bastards, The Circle.” She shifted her weight from one leg to the other. “Look, I don’t know anything about them besides the fact that they’re a bunch of cowards who need to be caught and get a beatin’. But no one knows who they are.”
“Oh, good. I doubt he’d let you take more if you tried!”
“Very true. But I’m happy with the ones I got.”
“Oh. Really? Don’t tell her I said that. I wish I had a professor like that.”
“Don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me. Well, take a degree in History in uni and you might just.”
send me questions, on or off anon, and i’ll reply honestly
“How many did you take?” Hazel asked, eyes wide as she talked and listened to Natasha.
“Just a couple. I wasn’t about to hoggle him for more, I am not that kind of girl.”
“Your professor sounds amazing! Does he always set projects like this?”
“Well, he is actually a she, and yeah, she does this all the time. Actually, it’s rarer the day I wear casual clothes to school than the ones I don’t.”
“Your mother, I’m sorry to say this, but… I’d be delighted to meet her, you admire her so much. She seems like an admirable woman indeed.” he confessed. To raise an adolescent as amazing as Natasha, she had to be pretty great. He wans’t ven thinking about meeting her for other purposes except meeting a person who had achieved so much. Her opinion startled him a bit. He had never seen it that way, but now that he thought about it… She was quite right. And right there, he had an idea. “Look, Hannah and Fiona haven’t edited the scrript yet, and… I’ve read and studied Shakespeare and you’re right, he tends to do that to most female characters. So… What if we…. Made some changes on the characters, turns things around, without exactly changing the plot?” He knew it was risky, but the theatre needed that. To step out of tradition, to be innovative. And he didn’t like to stick to the rules much, took creativity out of his work and it wasn’t his way to go. Aiden may be civil and an organized (sort of) adult now, but a part of the old Aiden was still in him, a part that he could ignore mostly, but that he couldn’t shake off completely.
Nat nodded, a small, proud smile on her lips. “Yeah, she’s truly amazing. And I think you two would really get along.” Her mother was basically her ultimate role-model. She was such a strong woman. She’s raised her all on her own, never asking for anything from anyone. She was unapologetic, too. She was so determined and resolved. It was really no wonder Nat had turned out the way she did.
Nat thought about it for a second. “I mean, if someone could take Taming of the Shrew and make 10 Things I Hate About You, I suppose we could work something out. I’d be more than willing to help with that, too.” She wasn’t scared of a challenge. And besides, the look on Mr. Fitz’s face told her he wanted to do this. “I think people would really like it. I mean, I know I’m tired of seeing the same old Shakespearean thing time and again. A change would be nice.”
“Oh sweetheart it’s cute that you think what you did requires an applause. Really blood cute.”
“You’re a fucking prick, you know that? I just stopped a girl from getting mugged, I don’t care about the bloody applause. But a little respect wouldn’t kill you, now would it?”
@adelaidekane: Oh my little darlings… I don’t buy lingerie for men! I buy it for me.
Where do cats like to go for fun? I literally have no idea.
“Beats me! That little bugger is bonkers...”
[Hazel gasped at her friend and stayed completely for a bit, before speaking] Please tell me you got pictures.
“Am I an amateur? Of course I did!”
Wow! Really? Did you make it for school?
“Yeah, my history professor is very... practical. It’s awesome.”

“That’s exactly the spirit we have and need here, I’m glad you’ll join us.” he agreed with a smile, “Hmm yeah, I get what you mean… This city sure has some mysteries… I don’t really mind, as long as they don’t tear this place apart.” he ended up saying and crossed his arms. “Of course, you’re welcome…. Ya know, you’d be great with Miranda’s role… I’m not supposed to choose people right away, but still, if you go to the auditions, I’m sure you’ll be great.”
Nat shrugged. “Just... reminds me of when I was kid. My mum and I, we would dress up sometimes and mess around. It was fun...” Admitting the reason she was down was actually her mum wasn’t easy. Lately, she’d been so... off. Nat wanted to know what was going on but she just wouldn’t tell her, wave it off as tiredness. But Natasha pushed the thought of her mother away for a moment, forcing a smile for Mr. Fitz. “Miranda, huh? I have to confess, Shakespeare was never quite my guy. I think the lad’s a bit of a prick actually. The way he portrays women sometimes reveals a misogynistic mentality we don’t need in society anymore. But sure, I’ll give it a go.”
Nope, I haven’t seen a cat anywhere near here, sorry!
“Bloody hell! Where the frack did that nutter slide off to this time?”
Nothing, just your costume. It looks amazing.
Oh, thank you! I spent two weeks making it, but it definitely paid off.
