Alby lays out the rules, the history, the locations.

Newt describes the different people, the groups and their personalities.

I believe this shows how they run the Glade, Alby playing the fearless leader, strong, reliable. Newt as the support, open, kind.

The Glade wouldn’t be able to run if it relied on only a fearless leader; he’d be disliked and resented. Not could it rely on the supportive figure; they’d be without a goal, without drive.
