- She’s a rather serious cat, but is also very patient. She never had a problem with Spotfur’s questions so long as they didn’t take focus from her training.
- She often speaks bluntly, which has made a lot of cats think she’s rude or just plain mean.
- She was closer to Larksong than Honeyfur, largely due to feeling like Honeyfur was babied by Lilyheart and is too immature as a result. But she does love her, even though she doesn’t want to.
- Similarly, she was closer to Snowbush than she was with Lilyheart for the reason stated above.
- She has an excellent sense of whether or not a cat is lying.
- Bumblestripe was very hard on her as an apprentice. At the time of her training, there was a lot of tension between him and Dovewing, and Leafshade got the brunt of her mentor’s displeasure.
- She cares a lot for Spotfur, having sworn to be a better mentor than Bumblestripe was.
- Though she thinks of herself as rational, she can be prone to rash decisions when she’s angry.
- She doesn’t like Twigbranch. In her mind, Twigbranch has never had to face real consequences and was babied far too much by Lilyheart and Alderheart.
- While she may not like a cat, she always maintains a level of respect and good manners. Politeness does not equal friendship.
- No one but Larksong knew this, but she loves butterflies. Their colors and carefree nature are so…calming.
- He was very weak at birth, and Jayfeather actually thought he was going to die.
- Due to his bad start in life, he worked hard to get stronger over the course of his apprenticeship and became the powerful cat he is today.
- He’s never been picky and actually tried to eat a beetle as a kit, only for Cinderheart to stop him halfway through. Spotfur won’t let him live it down.
- He’s very restless and fidgets a lot when he’s staying in one place.
- He is a major mama’s boy. He has a good bond with his father, but is even closer to Cinderheart.
- He is afraid of heights.
- As an apprentice, he thought Flywhisker wasn’t trying hard enough in her training, and started to cut her off. A quick talk with Cinderheart helped him realize that this was not the case, and that he was hurting his sister’s feelings pretty badly.
- Now, he’s very close to both his littermates, but is significantly more protective of Flywhisker, all too happy to jump to her defense if a mousebrain mocks her.
- He likes to bury himself in fallen leaves, only to jump out whenever someone passes by, startling them. The only cat he’s failed this with is Jayfeather.
