The small handle must always be at six for this part. With extreme care, use a pair of copper number 5 tweezers to twist the main screw; now this bit should be done by a professional, or a person with small hands. Once the screw has loosen, remove the lid without taking the screw out of its slot, and use your fingers to place the big handle at…
A sonorous cry drew Lily’s attention from the small guide to wristwatch maintenance that she had been reading all afternoon. Quiet and serene she had devoured every sentence in the book, and had found herself deep into its pages. She was near to finding out how to fix the time on a watch that had stopped working, but now it seemed it had to be a task for another day.
Lily, I’m bleeding and it’s BAD.
The redhead had begun to rise from her seat the moment she had heard Fabio’s distressed call, but when she heard the word bleeding she rushed to the kitchen, letting the book slide from her lap onto the floor and bumping her toe with the coffee table. “ –damn it, fuck.” she cursed under her breath, biting her lip as she wiggled away the pain. “ I’m coming, hold on!” she called, quickly limping into the kitchen.
Lily had never been afraid of seeing blood but the thought of watching Fabio hurt with a throbbing wound revealing flesh, and blood and muscles made her uneasy. She could have looked paler than ever under a natural light, and she forgot about the pain on her toe as she moved to her beloved’s side, hands groping at whichever of his limbs was closer, desperately trying to find the source of the bleeding. “ Let me see. Do you need a stitch? What happened? What do I do?”
“Lily!” was the resounding call as her attempts to reach him fell deaf upon his ears, and it wasn’t until he was nursing his finger in his mouth that he spun around in his hurried urgency to find a bandaid that he saw her. “Oh, Wiwy, ‘ank Merli’ - fuck, m’fin’er hurtsth,” he whined incoherently around the digit popped still firmly between his lips.
Fabio was one of the most useless adults known to the world. And for a Healer, he was utterly moronic when it came to healing himself, evident in the melodramatic reaction he thrust into the open kitchen.
Truly, the wound was not that large, nor that deep, as he would soon come to discover when removing the finger from his mouth and examining it further. While one might appear abashed and ashamed for such an overreaction, Fabio merely stared at the cut for a brief second, then lifted his gaze to Lily’s quite calmly, with an arched brow.
“I’ve actually decided that all it needs is a kiss to make it better.”
On her, he looked expectantly, lifting the small cut to eye level, then lip level. Mischievous brown eyes roamed over her face, anticipating every twitch, every reaction. The poor sap felt that everything could have been made better with a kiss from her, whether that be to his lips or to his finger (or to elsewhere, though that is a story better saved for the privacy of their bedroom). Were he not so outlandishly involved with this fiery haired fiend, he might still of been wailing into nothingness of his pained nothingness, waving a hand around for help; but she had always done something to cool his wild spirit when it acted out.
