List of Neal Caffreyās skill sets and knowledge
So as I was watching White Collar for the fourth time and for fun decided to make a list of everything Neal is capable of and came out with quite a big list in the end. I guess it proves my theory that if he wanted he could conquer the world cause that man is a freaking genius! When I mentioned the listĀ @archivistsrock and @mabesies asked me if I could share it in the end so without further ado here it is:
Capable of improving on the spot
Good at reading people and good with people in general
Speaks 8 languages (including conversational Swahili)
Great pick-pocketer and safe cracker
Great sleight of hand (could even fool Mozzie!)
āAlias savantā (has 27 known alias and can invent an alias on the spot)
Adrenaline junkie (I know itās not really a skill but it must be useful if youāre going to base jump of a building, jump from a cable car to another or zipline from a building to another)Ā
Super fit (again not really a skill but he says that he exercises regularly - he swims - and I guess that helps him whenever he needs to escape and charm people whenever he takes off his shirt)
Great at Poker and pretty much all card games (also letās not forget Pai Gow)Ā
Is fast and can easily climb/jump over objects when running
Can easily charm anyone he wishes to (it could be considered a consequence of being good with people and reading them I guess but letās be honest the man is gorgeous and that certainly helpsā¦)
Can make passable identification cards with only things at hands
Can identify forged paintings, sculptures, bearer bonds, gems, antiquities, counterfeit money, counterfeit alcohol, signatures, fossils and pretty much every kind of document (and forge all of these himself)
Can easily pick handcuffs or slip them off
Can build the NY city skyline from his place out of sand (should those count as a sculptures?)
Can use a gun (and heās good at it even if he doesnāt like them)
Can box (at least he looked like he knew what he was doing on āGloves Offā - since it has been two seasons since he asked Peter to have combat training maybe he did some work on his own)
Incredible knowledge about all things art and antiquities of all around the world
Knows how to cook well enough to pass as a chef
Knows mixology (cool bartender skills)
Knows whine and pretty much all alcoholic beverages (but mostly whine)
Knows music and musical instrumentsĀ
Knows how to disarm bombs (and probably how to create one if needs be)
Knows Electrical EngineeringĀ
Knows Cars (I guess that could come from his knowledge in mechanics and electrical engineering)
Knows Chemistry and Biochemistry
Knows Science in general (canāt say heās an expert on all fields but he knows enough to get by)
The list is not in any particular order. I just wrote down stuff as he showed off his skills and then tried to organize it more or less by subject. I think I might even have missed a couple of skills but I tried my best :)
