This is a fandom gift exchange, meaning that for every prompt submitted, someone is there to fulfill one! By signing up, you're agreeing to fulfil the prompt that will be sent to you.
WRITERS will have a minimum word count of 1k, and I encourage them to be no more than 10kalthough not strongly enforced.
ARTISTS will have a minimum clean sketch, meaning that it will have a refined outline, without distracting guidelines, and a generally polished look (reference provided below)
No NSFW or Crossover prompts please! This means no sexually explicit prompts, and while I know there's a large crossover fandom in White Collar, I personally would like to keep this as a White Collar-specific fandom event. Thank you for understanding!
The Deadline for sign-ups is May 31st! 11 p.m. EDT/4 a.m. GMT
You will be contacted with your prompts by June 7th.
The Deadline for submitting your work will be July 31st, 11 p.m. EDT/4 a.m. GMT, but there will be a check in on your progress on July 1st.
If you don't respond to the check in by July 19th, your prompts will be sent to pinch hitters/back up fillers instead. If you do not respond to the check in, you are forfeiting participation in the event, even if you finish your work by the deadline.
I will only attempt to contact you twice, if I get no response either around the check in time or around the event submission, you will be forfeiting participation in the event, even if you finish your work by the deadline. I'm not chasing people down or worrying about their gifts, you will be replaced.
Works published to AO3 should be submitted to the White Collar Gift Exchange collection. These works will be revealed on August 7th, meaning that they will not be able to be read until they are revealed.
If you're posting elsewhere, please do not post your work until August 1st when the rest of the gifts will be revealed!
Works are due a week before the reveal. This is to ensure last minute pinch hitters have adequate time to cover, in case someone doesn't post the night gifts are due. This does not mean you have time to submit work late, I will not grant extensions past the 31st.
If your spot in the exchange ends up being forfeited, I can't stop you from posting it anywhere, but it will not be in the gift exchange collection or reblogged to the gift exchange tumblr.
