Hi, I’m Quinn. You might know me from my teeth, which I’ve fundraised for before. Unfortunately, I am NOT an overall healthy person. I was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, and after several rounds of going through MRIs, insurance issues, my husband losing his job… I’m broke and my normal dentist can no longer help me due to seizures. On top of that, I’m struggling to pay for my trip to the National Institutes of Health where I could get more help for that but there is something else that needs to happen soon in tandem with that.

I need each of my teeth pulled, replaced by implants by a surgical dentist. The price tag for this is upwards of 35k to 40k. Insurance, even most dental insurers, do not pay for full implants. Not to mention, I’m struggling to pay for my trip for the National Institute of Health, and getting in contact with NORD.

I’m going to first need all of my broken teeth pulled, as I have problems with my enamel, previous issues with fillings that are now loose and ready to come out, and screws placed to heal. This will take upwards of 6-8 months to heal enough for the surgical dentist to come back in, and place implants on the posts in my gums.

This will be a long, and painful, process, but will increase my quality of life, because as of now, I have 3 molars, and chewing food regularly tears up my gums. Without the ability to chew correctly, I have now developed issues with my GI tract from a lack of fiber.

My risk of infection from losing the rest of my lower, left front tooth is also extremely high, as the socket itself is exposed.

My normal dentist cannot do this kind of work, especially with my current medical issues. Unfortunately, he’s not qualified to put me under, as I could seize (fun aside: we don’t know why I’m having seizures, but my consult epilepsy doctor says they’re possibly temporal lobe).

All this aside to say: I need your help again. I know it’s a lot, but I can tell you, this is something I am now in dire need of this basic step towards health. Here is my gofundme. A penny, a quarter, a dollar, or even just a signal boost can help me immensely.

Hi , I realize this is a long shot but a long shot is better than not trying at all. I will keep it short. Recently a friend of mine, Layla 29 y/o had brain surgery to remove a tumour, she is currently recovering from said brain surgery. She received her pathology results about a week ago. She has cancer.

The tumour is an Anaplastic Astrocytoma, a Grade 3 Malignant Tumor. This rare malignant brain tumor affects 2% of brain tumor diagnoses and are difficult to fully extract through brain surgery. In simple terms, the tumour is not treatable, it will continue to grow and it will end her life. The average life span with this tumour is about 5 years.

Layla will be undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to extend her life as much as they can, but they will not perform surgery again and the cancer cannot be cured. Which brings me to the point of this post...

Layla cannot work for the next year and will need financial support. A GoFundMe of $18,000 has been created . This seems like a large amount of money (and it is) but She will need enough to survive, and we believe that she then needs enough to live the rest of her days as fully as possible.

hello nerds. if you use windows, please disable the print spooler (instructions below) as it is currently vulnerable to an exploit called PrintNightmare that can allow a remote user to hijack your computer.

how to do it:

1. go to start menu

2. search for "command prompt"

3. right-click on it when it appears and select "run as administrator"

4. type the following line EXACTLY as it appears here:

net stop spooler

5. that's it.

you won't be able to print without it, but please believe me that not being able to print for a few days is definitely worth not having your computer used in a botnet/for cryptocurrency mining/etc. once microsoft publishes a fix and you update your computer, you should be fine to restart the process using the following line:

net start spooler

Rabbit Rehoming Post~

I need to rehome this little guy. He is a purebred polish buck born in 2018 (can grab his exact birthdate and pedigree if wanted). He is as small as an adult rabbit can be, somewhere between 2-2.5lbs. He was supposed to be part of a project to breed rabbits that would make wonderful pets but I do not have time for such a project anymore. I rehomed his mum on tumblr last year and her new owner loves her. He’s very sweet and needs a buttload of attention that I cannot give. He would be an excellent candidate to bond to a female rabbit. He NEEDS to be neutered in his new home; he does not spray but he is extremely amorous with humans and will nip/mount any part of your body he can get his little arms around. He gives lots of kisses too. Neutering him will take away those hormones.

There’s no asking price to rehome, I’m comfortable meeting east of Toronto or south of Ottawa, and could MAYBE bring him to Montreal but that would need to be done probably before June 20th 2021. Please send a message if you are interested in him~

hey everyone. i've never e-begged before so i'm sorry if this is a mess. i've thought a lot about this, but things really reached a new low for me so i really need help.

on the 16th of march my grandmother passed away, and she was the one providing for me, my mom and my uncle, while my dad helped me and my mom. me and both my parents are unemployed right now. my mom's mental health is going down the drain and she was always a stay-at-home mom, unsure how quickly she will find a job and how it will go for her. i've been looking for jobs but the covid situation really isn't helping. i've got a few weeks until we have to move (we can't afford rent here anymore) and recently found out i have gallbladder stones (and some other health problems are showing up right now + my mental health being shit and i can't afford therapy) so it really feels like everything is taking a turn for the worse at the same time.

Hi everyone! For those of you who don't follow me, my name is Shay and I'm a mentally ill disabled multiracial nonbinary lesbian. I'm on five different medications (four of them psychiatric) that I was already having trouble paying for before the pandemic started in addition to my doctor's visits (my psychiatrist will not refill my meds if I don't see him first). I have now lost my job as well as the insurance my job provided me. I have no other sources of income and I'm terrified about what will happen if I can't get my meds in the coming months. My mental health is declining and is manifesting in physical health problems that are making my life hell.

To make matters worse, some of the meds I'm on have terrible withdrawal. The last time I had to go cold turkey on the main one, I thought I was going to have a seizure and I couldn't drive.

Here are the psychiatric meds I'm on: venlafaxine, buspar, lamotrogine (mood stabilizers), and clonazepam for my panic attacks.

I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't in it bad. My last post died off, but I did get a couple of donations from very lovely people who helped me through the past refill, but my situation has gotten worse since then.

Please help or spread, if you can. I can't offer much in return right now, but if any college students need help writing papers, I'm pretty good at that! (If you're in high school, please don't give me money!)

He was shot three times in the back entering his own home.
