Ok so sorry wife but I can confirm what @uncle-dusknoir is saying. Our charms are mostly to keep our ghostly roommates contained within the house or keep them away from certain areas. I ain't an expert on psychic types, but I've heard of white noise machines or some other device that disturb their concentration, making them vacate an area/unable to use their moves correctly. You can get some on Amazon but the real good ones usually cost quite a penny and are only available for Pokemon labs or big facilities, and not really to your regular Joe.

So, in the unlikely event we get hounded by some Malamar, I'd like to say we are fucked 💜💜💜

You know, one of the things I've noticed about this website is that there really is a lot of people from other regions! I've only seen a few other Galarians! I have quite a few questions, really.

But.. what really has me curious...

Who is everyone's favorite champion?

Well I can vouch for 3 of them personally. As a (former) gym leader in Kalos, it astounds me how Diantha manages her acting and champion duties. When she can attend meetings, she is locked in. Very much keeps the league glued well and her Gardevoir is insane.

But of course I gotta give it up for my besties Klim @jellyjellystars and Gracia, (from Alola and Unova respectively)! Some of the funniest people alive and can and will kick ass. Haven't run out of milk once since our return to Kalos, thanks to Millie.

Really looking forward to Gracia's return from her no doubt insane stint. <3

My brother called me and apparently he's heading to Alola soon for the next part of his Pokémon journey.

Of course he said I should come with him, take a vacation he said.

Dude, I live in a dark spooky forest for a reason, if I walk out into direct sunlight I sunburn so bad I risk bursting into flames. Not to mention I just took in Camellia (the sinistea that's been living in my cabinet) and I can't just leave while it's getting adjusted.

And his response was to just bring Camellia and the other ghosts with me. As if it's easy to wrangle multiple ghost types with different needs and temperaments on a long trip like that. Not to mention none of them are registered to my name and are technically wild, and that's not going to fly legally.

Like, I love my brother and hope he has fun battling and all that, but I just cannot randomly go on a massive trip like that.

OMG. I remember when my wife went to take a vacation in Alola. That was like a year ago or something. I eventually joined her through circumstances and... UGHHhhh like, beautiful region, beautiful people, beautiful Pokémon... But for the love of everything holy, going to the beach was a death trap. I was sweating and pale and dying all over the sand. My only happy time was when I willingly stuck my hand into a Sandygast so I could feel some amount of cold while buried in the sand. Felt like home.

I was sunburnt like never before. Never ever leaving my Trevenant forest ever again to go to Alola.

(I'll try to find some photos of the trip if I can. They must be buried somewhere on my harddrive)
