I am so incredibly sick of this attitude that policies that hurt women are okay because, "It's incredibly rare, it's fine." No.
If ONE woman dies, becomes trapped in an abusive relationship, has to postpone her education, or falls into poverty because she couldn't access an abortion, that's too many.
If ONE woman is killed by her male family members in an honor killing, that's too many.
If ONE little girl is raped and is forced to marry her rapist, that's too many.
If ONE woman is raped or hurt by a trans male in prison, that's too many.
If ONE girl is a victim of FGM, that's too many.
I am not willing to accept ANY number of women as collateral damage. None, zero. And I am incredibly suspicious of people who seem willing to sacrifice women for their agendas.
All women who were unfairly punished by the justice system after righteously killing their abusers/rapists. Punished in a world that prioritises the worst men over the average woman.

They were not only protecting themselves (or their families), but also doing the world a favour by ridding it of scum. There are countless more women that could be added to this list — spread the word.
we seriously need to stop conceding to the personhood trap when it comes to abortion rights. is a fetus a person? thats a spiritual question. i dont care about the answer. should another person dictate what someone can do with their body? simple answer: no.
like if a fetus isnt a person it has no right to my body and if a fetus IS a peson it also has no right to my body because there is no other context in which we are required to put ourselves at risk of physical harm to preserve another persons safety or even life.
you dont have to save someone from drowning even if youre a strong swimmer. even in death youre not required to donate organs and that could save several people. you can kill someone if you truly believe your safety is at risk. we dont mandate preservation of life over autonomy in any of these circumstances.
estén atentas a la situación en colombia con el tema de la mutilación genital femenina. estamos hablando de una práctica que está afectando niñas menores a 5 años. ya basta de esta barbaridad y de mirar al otro lado.
in english: FGM is about to be outlawed in colombia. i'll keep you updated after june 18th or hopefully sooner.
UPDATE: FGM IS NOW BANNED IN COLOMBIA. GREAT JOB AND CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERY FEMINIST AND ACTIVIST GROUP WHO HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR YEARS 🥹💜

i am so exhausted with the idea that lesbianism is some sort of jealously guarded clubhouse rather than a description of the class of human females exclusively attracted to other human females. it is a descriptive term. all nouns are "exclusionary". that is how language works. if i call a sphere a round three dimensional object, i am excluding squares from the definition of a sphere. if someone started saying squares are also spheres, round three dimensional objects would continue to exist. at some point, you would need a word to describe them.
homosexuals don't stop existing just because you erode our language to describe ourselves. whether we are called tribades or lesbians or inverts, we continue to exist as a distinct class of human being.
even if you won, and "lesbian" was redefined to the point of having no meaning at all, at some point, we and those around us would observe that we have a distinct quality that we share in common: that we are females exclusively attracted to other females. and we would name ourselves yet again. we aren't going away. this neo-homophobia is the equivalent of jamming your fingers in your ears and closing your eyes and hoping the homos stop existing as long as you pretend we aren't here.
we're lesbians. we are still here. we aren't going to vanish. get over it.
I know trans “women” are still biological men because they never shut the fuck up and make themselves the center of everything
yeah ok kid gloves are off, i thought you might give a shit if a lesbian pointed out how fucked your rhetoric is, but you're clearly too stupid to understand what i said. the current discourse about trans women in locked rooms is the direct descendant of discourse about lesbians, especially butch women, in locker rooms. we get painted with the exact same brush: mannish, predatory perverts who are just there to stare at titties. the only difference is that one has a penis and one doesn't. and guess what? it still targets us! i don't shave my legs, i don't wear makeup, i'm fat and hairy and i grow a stubble due to pcos. i am exactly the type of cis woman who gets sideways glances and glares when i enter a womens locker room, and it is because of idiots like you who think no cis woman would ever be harmed by anti-trans rhetoric. we're fucking collateral to you, but don't worry - once all the trans women are out, i'm sure you'll also be rid of the ugly, mannish dykes that make you uncomfortable too. only pretty pink girls now ✨✨✨
Well, no. The current discourse about trans women in locker rooms is a direct descendant of rampant male violence because “trans women” are male.
Lesbians stop trying to be relevant in trans discourse and using your bodies as full body shields for these fuck ass men. This shit is embarrassing
As a butch lesbian, males do not belong in the female change room. They are free to access the male spaces that have always been available to them.
funny how this was never an issue til the males made it one huh. almost like nobody gave a shit until males started demanding access to women's spaces and women had to defend their right to privacy. if you keep single-sex spaces intact, the problem will go away.
ya know, like how it's been for 50+ years? but now, masculine women are suddenly at risk because males have successfully weaponized lesbian nonconformity to further their agenda. congrats on falling for it dumbass.
I need genderists to think for 5 seconds about the difference between falsely claiming someone is something vs accurately stating that someone is that thing.
“Carl is gay so I’m going to call him a pedophile as a homophobic insult” is different from “Dave is a pedophile and was caught red-handed abusing children,” and if your reaction to this situation is “omg Carl needs to be buddies with Dave and protect him from the allegations because they’re both in the same boat!” you are clinically stupid.
Accusing women of being mannish to demonize them for not being gender conforming is not the same as stating that an actual male is male. I’m sick of people refusing to rub their brain cells together because they’re so caught up in the emotional narratives of trans ideology that thinking critically about it has become taboo
if a woman got mad and confrontational in a locker room because she assumed a butch lesbian was a creepy boundary-crossing man, they'd be mistaken.
if a woman got mad and confrontational in a locker room because she assumed a trans woman was a creepy boundary-crossing man, they'd be correct.
that's the difference. it's like burglars saying "actually anti-burglary rhetoric harms everyone. I've even had some non-burglar friends have the cops called on them when they were wearing all black and walking around the perimeters of someone's home! my friend was just chasing her lost dog! and that's why if you see me, an actual burglar snooping around your house, you can't call the cops." substitute literally any crime or negative action in that analogy. "we can't point out perceived bad behavior, because sometimes we're wrong!". "you can't ever point out when us trans women are crossing women and girls boundaries by being in private single-sex spaces, because what if you're wrong and it's a real woman with no bad intentions at all? you'd really do that to a sweet well-intentioned real woman??" that's what they're saying. they're telling you to ignore your intuition, because there's a chance of a case of mistaken identity. personally, if I reasonably believe I see someone committing a crime or a negative behavior, I will call it out and report it to whoever can take care of it, if it turns out later I was wrong, I know that no one who is genuinely innocent and with good intention would be angry with me. if you raise the red flag that there's a man in the woman's restroom and it turns out you were wrong, okay... so what? these small mistakes do not mean that we need to open the floodgates and make all "women's" bathrooms and locker rooms co-ed and allow all men who "identify" a certain way into them.
I am a friend to all cats. Yes even the mean ones. They have their reasons.
