No, but obv these two are probs gonna…have some issues coming up lkdsjfkljsdkjf  I mean, idk if Rob’s going to tell anyone that he sort of hijacked a dragon via Dezod or if he’s gonna be like ‘im totally the chosen one’ *wink* which would obv have an impact w these two bc…yknow…y’made ROB a dragonrider and you stole my son?????? and killed my sister-in-law???? and like…that’s just for starters things haven’t even gotten rolling in the south yet laksdjflkjsdfd  

That being said, Dzod loves the idea of King Ned bc honestly the more the merrier when it comes for contenders for the throne!!!!  Like, he ~does wish that Ned were slightly more ambitious and wanted Rowena’s throne but stiLL this is good, too ;DDDDD  So he will both help and hinder them as it suits himself (no surprise there) particularly re: whatever goes down w Roran and w Ric bc those’re his two biggest priorities atm *throws confetti*  What a…truly dubious honor lakjdflkjsdlfjkskdljfklsjdf

So…yeah!!  What do you think Ned’s feelings are on Dezod?

Rob is DEFINITELY going to play up the “I’m the chosen one” card b/c it’s Rob!!!! No way is he going to say that he made a deal with Dezod to get his dragon!!! (Also, Rob does love his brothers in a very weird and selfish way??? Like he’s always idolized them and wanted to be as good -- (and then better) -- than them BUT he’d like for them all to be friends and he’s not about to admit that he killed Cris’s wife and sold Ned’s son as a potential meal to an immortal being, y’know? Like he doesn’t care enough about them to consider how much that will hurt them both b/c he cares about himself #1 but he also doesn’t want his brothers to be upset with him??? IDK katherine he’s weird).

Anyway, Ned does NOT trust Dezod. (Not sure if he knows what happens to his son when he disappears btw????? I mean eventually he figures it out but that’s not something Rob will volunteer and unless Dezod says something, himself, Ned won’t know but REGARDLESS ... of any of that ... he doesn’t trust him, haha).

I do think that Ned has done extensive research on magic, etc. given his son and he’s definitely tried to find someone who might be able to help teach his son how to control his abilities, etc. and I feel like Dezod may have come up in that ODR!google search lmao and Ned looked at the yelp! reviews and was like ... nah ... no thanks.

JENN!!!!! Okay, so Ned loves the Moysaunt girls a lot, haha. He was also (I’m like 99% sure??) the one who found them when they were hiding and brought them back to civilization -- so I do think he def feels responsible for them and is definitely their Dad Friend. Also, Ned’s son, Ric, also has ~magical abilities~ and he’s super protective over him b/c he’s afraid of what might happen if the wrong people find out about what he can do??? And I think that will probably also extend to Avina, tbh, especially since she’s also gonna be family once Ned’s bro marries Avina’s sister!!!! Yeah, all of this is to say that Ned loves her a lot and just wants the best for her!!!! <33

okay, so i think that ned def makes a point to know pretty much everyone in swystone as possible + listens to them/their problems, etc. etc. so he can do what he can to help. his power is kinda limited atm but he still does whatever he can. anyway, i feel like he would def know lia! i can see him going down to the twisted river now & again. also he would def apologize for rob tbh. (i feel like rob talks about lia a lot actually and his bros def know that he frequents her) ned definitely knows that his bro is a problem but tbh he does not realize just how much of a problem he is & if he knew how rob treated her, he’d def do something about it ... but unfortunately, he’s kinda blind when it comes to rob ...

NO THAT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE!!!!  House Barret is gonna be a total disaster and the Resistance is probs rolling its eyes so hard they fall out of its collective head bc WEVE LITERALLY BEEN FIGHTING TO MAKE NED KING??????  WHY ARE YOU HERE CONFUSING THE ISSUE?????  NO ONE NEEDS A SPLIT VOTE and James is like waving like “OMG guys I have so many stories!!!!!!” and Alexandir is like “No you don’t” and James is like “Ok fine but btw we’re a democracy now” and I feel like everyone’s generally just ???!!??!????!!?!!????

HAHAHAAH I cry bc James is expecting the red carpet but tbh literally no one except Loys will be happy to see him #facepalm  (And even Loys will be like, ‘wait no rob and mom don’t like you so…maybe i’m not so happy…but also maybe i am…’)  BUT ANYWAY

Esp if Ned was happier back then and amused by him, Harry probs liked Ned alot but also I feel like Lord Mortain (who still needs a name hahaha) was pr forbidding as far as Harry was concerned, anyway, and so Ned was a friend of his father’s so Harry was also probs pr ????????  But didn’t let himself be intimidated bc he likes to think he feels no fear *thumbs up*  Also, he was def running around picking on Ned’s lil bro (s/o to Rob) and yeah idk how Ned felt about that/if he even noticed hahahaha 

But I think in a way Harry probs looked up to Ned esp if Ned was kind to him and/or ever took the time to teach him things/explain things to him bc I feel like his dad was just exasperated with his inquisitiveness 90% of the time and basically “You are Harrion Mortain.  You do not ask such pointless questions” and Harry was like, “Obv I do dad #notsorry” bc he has a v active mind and he wants to know EVERYTHING and esp when he was a kid he didn’t have much of a filter so if a question popped into his mind (which happened…constantly) then he asked it.  So yeah.  Idk if Ned had patience for that kind of thing or not?  But if he did, Harry probs thought he was pr rad.

And yeah Cris is def not dealing well AT ALL hahahahaha  Like, if they’d at least gotten a month together or if she’d been killed more humanely or, hell, if basically ANYONE but his brother had done it he might have coped better…but all of those things piled on one another and yeah #goodtimes  And then Ric is disappeared too Cris is like “Our family is actually cursed.”  (But actually it’s just Rob #barretproblems)

tHERE IS GONNA BE SO MUCH CHAOS IN THE SOUTH (Dezód be like: ur welcome xoxo) iT’S GONNA BE DELIGHTFUL. And I feel like people will have all mixed emotions about what’s the best thing to do/who is the best person to follow b/c their options are literally 1) Loys (hahaha) 2) Ned (who has done right by them so far, but his #1 priority is now his son ++ when/if he finds out about Rob he’s gonna start second guessing like eVERYThing he does tbh) 3) Cris (who isn’t in good shape) 4) James (who doesn’t know what he’s doing 5) Celia (who doesn’t know what she’s doing) and basically ???? helP???? 

HAHAHAHAH yeah there will be no red carpet for you harrion ;DD but seriously james’ triumphant return is everything to me tbh <333

tbh Ned probably didn’t notice he was picking on Rob??? (And on the rare occasions when he did he was probs like: okay but honestly rob you were just asking for it ;DDD jk jk he’d probably come to his defense and raise his eyebrow sternly @ harrion but then let it go b/c he didn’t realize just how often it happened + the effect it had on rob until much later when he had bigger problems) 

I def feel like Ned would have been patient with him tbh. I think he spent a lot of time with the Mortains and I think he’d def see the dynamic harry had with his dad and like idk in a way ned knows he couldn’t always be there for his own bros, but he could be there for harry since he was always around and yes he would def take the time to explain things to him/teach him things aLSO he and cris are the same age (i think???? if not they are close???) + do you think that they were friends at all/what did cris think of harry back in the day???

Seeing Drogon in this scene is a very powerful moment for both Jorah and Tyrion for different reasons. For Jorah, it’s this visible, visceral reminder of the woman he loves and is devoted to and is doing anything and everything possible to get back to, and Drogon is so much bigger than he was the last time he saw him that it’s almost like Dany looming even larger in his mind than she did when she was right in front of him. For Tyrion, it’s a completely arresting moment for him and it’s kind of an uplifting moment for him because they’d just been talking: “What’s it all for? It all turns into ruins.” And then, all of a sudden, something living and breathing from the past explodes into his world, and it’s almost like a beacon of hope for him that maybe these ruins aren’t all that remains, maybe there is something of this greatness that’s left in the world. – D. I think that for like YEARS Ned kept trying to get Loys to think for his own/try to convince him to see things differently than his mom but he can’t. I do think that there are some aspects of ruling the south that Margery doesn’t care about and she just leaves up to Ned and like he’s happy that he can do what he can, but he needs more support from Loys to do any real change and since he’s not exactly helpful in that area, he started the resistance #yay. 

I also feel like Ned is just 10000000% done with Loys. Like, there was a time when he was more patient with him and though that he’d come around, but now he’s just like YOU ARE A GROWN ASS MAN AND YOUR PEOPLE NEED YOU ARE YOU SERIOUSLY HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH THAT KEY!?!??!? Not that he’s ever said these things to his face. I feel like Ned is always the “obedient” (lol) servant to the Mortains and he actually has their trust?? (at least with margery is as much trust as she’d put in anyone but 1/2 of it is also that she def underestimates him haha)

so ned was 32 when james left, which means that he was def already working for the mortains (altho things were wayyy better back then b/c that was before rowena and loys ahHAHAHA). anyway, so ned was also a happier person back then tbh, b/c he had about to have a kid and i think he would have been amused by harry and just like smh about him. 

but when he shows up out of the blue, he’s probs not gonna be so happy tbh like sO much crap has happened and you’ve been out doinG whaT exACTLY?!?!?!? And i THINK He def respects Alexandir but I think he’s gonna get the feeling that there’s more to the harrion story than he’s being told. and i think he’s gonna have a lot of conflicting emotions tbh b/c his son is probs kidnapped and his sister in law is dead and his loser brother is a dragon rider and his other brother is having a v hard time and now there’s this new ruler in town who doesn’t know the first thing about what he’s doinG and NED DOESN’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS. 

And like if he can back at any other time, I think that Ned might be able to take a deep breathe and see that he’s trying to do the right thing here, but there’s so much crap going on that he might just see james as a pain and idk there’s probs a lot of fighting going on but i also think that ned might be in a very bad place and thinking more ~emotionally than logically b/c i think he’s lived through loosing his wife but idk that he can survive loosing his kid and it sounds like cris is gonna have some problems dealing with ana’s death and he doesn’t wanna loose his bro too and tbh the south probs needs celia/james/alexandir to step in at this point haha. 

i’m not 100% sure this all makes sense but hERe have a thing

ned: damn this sucks that life in aragoth is legit an improvement allow me to apologize on behalf of everyone

But no, Ned is legit fighting for a better tomorrow for everyone and he’s not sure that he’s gonna see it (he’s almost 50 he’s basically ancient in aragoth) but he’s determined that ric will and he really hopes that ivette will, too, b/c they so deserve it, you know?? Anyway, i think he really likes Ivette and while yes, Cris is def his right hand and Ned is the lead and at the end of the day, what he says goes, I do think that he listens to everyone’s opinions and takes them all into consideration (ew except you rob). 

aLSO, I feel like he has more on his plate than like Alaric (or even Warin) but Ned is also the ~resident dad and when he gets a chance he looks out for everyone and he def worries about the moysaunts/ivette living alone tbh especially since a) it wouldn’t be fun if the moysaunts were discovered and b) i don’t feel like all of aragothi are happy with slave immigrants coming in and taking their food/jobs etc. when it’s all so scarce to begin with, you know? And like he knows that they can all fend for themselves but he still probs comes by like ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!?!? OKAY GOOD

I literally feel like Ned would nOT be where he is today, if it was for Cris? Like when he becomes king (i mean when he thinks he’s gonna become king like dmitrei ruins that one like #whoops), Cris would literally be his hand okay. And besides Ric, Ned doesn’t care for anyone more (I don’t wanna say he likes Cris more than Rob but ... he likes Cris more than Rob ;DD) 

I do feel like Ned realizes, now, that they did Rob a disserve in kinda ~neglecting him, but Ned is very much an ~ends justifies the means~ type of guy anymore and yes, Rob suffered for it and he’s a problem, but in the end, he and Cris helped more ppl by being hella attentive to the south than being hella attentive to Rob (altho that’s liTeraLLY gonna come back and bite them both #barretproblems) (I’m not 100% sure of the timeline, but I’m thinking that Ned will probs die after Ana, but before they find out that it was Rob who killed Ana?)

But yeah, basically Ned does realize that Rob is a problem and spends 1/2 of his time apologizing for him, but he does NOT realize just how big of a problem he is. 

oKAY, so I also think that Cris is def the leader when Ned’s not around (both within the Mortain castle and the resistance haha) and Ned trusts him with everything and I think he always has? And icry b/c there’s a big age gap and I think that Cris might have grown up earlier than he would have, otherwise, if Ned didn’t rely on him so much? Like the Mortains are idiots/dead and literally the entire south has been put in their hands and lakdjflakjsdflLFAJDLFKAJDLFKj I’m emotional especially since they’ve basically given their entire lives to the south and neither of them are gonna get out of this happy and why am I surprised?!?!? (spoiler alert: i’m not)
