This refers to an audio leak from months and months ago, so keep that in mind.
The audio in question is: "Grab him by the throat".
Okay, so I have to talk about this, maybe someone has already thought about it, BUT-
We know that the military is looking for El. And we know that Will unlocked his powers inside a military base. I don't think Vecna killed ALL the soldiers, and even if he did, there will be cameras in this base, right? What about the children and the teacher? Someone must have seen Will using his powers. And if not someone... the cameras will have recorded everything. What if now, in addition to looking for El, the military starts looking for Will? Considering that the military had already captured Kaly.
And this is where the audio that came out several months ago comes in: a man shouting “get him by the throat,” and we know that this phrase is directed at Will because Noah is seen with marks on his neck in a promotional video.
So I think that at some point Will will be captured by the military, or at least the military will be about to capture him and something will happen. Also because, if I'm not mistaken, the phrase “grab him by the throat” should be in the same context as “you have to run.”
And remember how Joyce and Mike reacted when one of the soldiers hit Derek... think about what they would do if the soldiers touched Will.
But considering that in that scene, if we take into account that the two sentences (spoken by the soldier and Will) are in the same scene, Will seems to be struggling as if something, cough cough Vecna cough cough, is trying to take control of him, it is likely that it will be Will, controlled by Vecna, who will break free from the soldiers.
All this to say that, in my opinion, Will will be captured/almost captured by the military, and Vecna will force him to kill them.
