KHR is forever my favourite little ‘lore makes no sense’ series. Usually that’s a bad thing, I enjoy my lore detailed and understandable but here? Everything is so batshit insane you just kind of give up like. What the hell sure, these kids are mafia and used to killing and the main character pointedly doesn’t want to join the mafie but no one considers his opinion. What the hell, sure, there are flames that for some reason only mafias use and no one else ever not the government no one ever. What the hell, sure, there’s a bunch of canon parallel world and a dude who can travel between them and collected himself a squad from different world. Sure. Whatever. Of course there’s a shadow family with opposite attributes for some reason, gravitation as opposed to sky. Which are totally separate from all other flames that others have. Sure. Of course there’s a big dark evil prison and of course there’s a noodle shop owner in a funky hat who has known everything about lore all along, of course there’s previois babies, of course the main character is the one to solve it all. Of course he looks like a copy of his ancestor of ten generations ago. Of course power up includes a bunch of new jewellery and a cute pet winx style. No one has remembered we are mafia and supposed to be criminals for a while. Of course there’s a random bazooka that can exchange you with yourself ten years from the future
