He hummed, listening to what Yaku had to say. The question about what college he possibly would be eyeing has his nose wrinkle a little. It’s not like he is actively looking. He doesn’t even know what he wants to do with his life, which in turn had given his parents the great opportunity to dictate his life for him. Or at least to plan it for him to a certain point. Yuuji shrugged. “I don’t know, really. Dad wants me to be a lawyer, and mom wants me to be doctor… Obviously it’d be ideal if could become both!” He laughed a bit dry. 

He is however curious about how Yaku was doing in college and how the experience so far had been. Yuuji’s lips curved into a genuine smile, even if what was said was rather vague. But guess the basis to studies is pretty much the same, no matter what institution. Brown eyes blinked a few times at the question tossed back, then he grinned wide. “Ooops, my bad~ Any cute girlfriends, then?” 

“That would be ideal, but then you would leave me asking you two questions if you were taking that route. First, would you even be okay having two jobs that require your one hundred and twenty percent of your time and attention? Even if that’s impossible, something tells me you would give it a try. Second, is it something you want to go through?” Yaku narrow his eyes as if to try and see if he could pry something out of the younger player. Something really was off about the other’s tone.

Letting himself sigh out loud, he arch a brow before letting a hand rest on his own hip. He really was a troublesome underclassman. Maybe he was just more comfortable seeing the teasing side of Yuuji then anything. “No. I don’t have any girlfriends. However that doesn’t mean there are a lot of cute girls in college. Some are just too beautiful, it’s almost impossible to describe! They really are the sweetest girls anyone could come across. I plan to at least catch most of their attention before my first year ends.”

Bokuto was trying out swimsuits, with a blue with white flowers being the latest one to wear. He only felt another presence in the room when he was done checking himself out in the mirror. He only turned his head ever so slightly to register who it was.

“Need something? I’m kinda busy here.”

The last thing Yaku would ever expect was to see someone trying on a swimsuit during volleyball training. Maybe the other had plans in the weekend and wanted to see how it would look on himself? Who even knew the reason. However he wasn’t too bothered by the appearance.

“Sorry about that Bokuto. Just had to get something in here before joining the others.” Yaku close the door before heading to his cubicle to get a fresh towel. “What’s the occasion with the new swimsuit?”

He scoffed, and by old habit also lifted his chin in an annoyed and standoffish manner. “I’m not. I’m doin’ perfectly fine,” he grumbles, arms crossed over his chest as he tries to be rather nonchalant about the fact that it made him happy that Yaku would be willing to help out by receiving his spikes. Besides, he had a… good team he was on nowadays. The teammates were… alright. Maybe he could should tell Yaku about that too? That’s something you do, right? 

His posture changes to a more hunched over one, where he stuffs his hands in his pockets, lower lip jutted out in a pout, as he refuses to look at the libero while mumbling, “but.. if you’re offerin’, I’m not sayin’ no…” He kicks at an invisible pebble, cheeks slightly pink.

It feels like it’s been ages since they’ve been able to talk to one another like this. Life had just been so busy for the two that meeting up with one another like this felt like it would just be impossible. He was just lucky he manage to take some time off before going off to see Kyoutani. The attitude was still the same as ever. Something he didn’t mind seeing. Nothing he couldn’t handle.

Yaku’s smile widens a little more as he begins to stretch in front of the spiker. “I’m happy to hear you’ve been doing well. It’s better to hear it in person anyway then through text or phone. Even on vacation days, I’m always ready for some more training.” Where’s the fun in not challenging every amazing spiker in the country after all. “How have you been in general?” The libero position himself on the opposite side of the net as he prepares his stance.

‘ Oho ? It appears I almost forgot a certain someone’s special day ! ’ Kuroo slings an arm around Yaku, his hand ruffling through the brown strands of his hair which tousles as a result. ‘ There ya go, Nekoma’s special birthday treatment! Happy birthday, Yakkun. ’

“What do you-- oi What are you doing!?” There wasn’t any time for Yaku to react to his teammate’s attack, unable to get away in time before his hair became more of a mess then the captain’s own hair. Finally feeling the other release, Yaku tried to arrange it back to its usual self before trying to glare at the other. It was pretty hard to stay mad at him for something like this, so the glare didn’t work out and just gave a small smile.

“I bet you just made that up on the spot. Then when your birthday comes around, don’t expect any mercy from me. Thank you, Kuroo.”

Even if you miss five times, you just need to score ten more. Then we just have to worry about not letting the other team score.

“Oh, you know. Studying, getting ready for those college applications…” he shrugged, clearly not really looking forward to that. Yaku listens, though it seem pretty rude to just stare at his phone while having a conversation. if they did come from the same school, no doubt Yaku would give the other an earful. For now, it would be best to keep quiet about that. For now. “Well even if that’s the most difficult part of being a third year, it’ll be worth it in the end. Any places you’re looking to go?” At least he still plays. Maybe in a good college that would provide as much opportunities for him in the future.

He blinks in surprise at the sudden upbeat tone provided. Maybe it’s something eh can ask about later. “Eh? Well, everything is good. College isn’t that difficult, it’s almost like high school; you go to class, and then I have some volleyball practice.” Even if Russia isn’t as similar as Japan. Though he shouldn’t have been surprise by the other’s question, but of course he would feel flustered. 

“What the hell are you talking about. What makes you so sure that I would be looking for a boyfriend in the first place. Shouldn’t you have asked about a girlfriend first!?”

Independent RP Account For Yaku, Morisuke

Wow it’s been so long since I did one of these. There is so much I need to and update, but I did want to see if anyone was still around or not, so here we go with the small promo here. I’m open to almost any thread. I do have two jobs I’m juggling so replies won’t be as quick. I’ve been RPing for so many years, and I’m happy with short or long threads. In my rules page I’ll go into more details with shipping, AUs, and canon verse. Oh, and this blog will contain spoilers, so please let me know if you haven’t read the manga so I can tag things appropriately. Other then that, I love you guys and hope we’ll have a chance to talk
