I was out to eat at a patio with my family, where we all ordered wings. As I was finishing up, I noticed a tiny fly on the plate where we had put our wing bones.
The fly rubs its hands together, cleaning itself in preparation to eat a tiny portion of the meat left on the bones. Our scraps more than this fly could eat in its entire life, and enough to feeds it's children for some time. Our scraps are enough to feed hundreds of lives, and yet we throw them away without a second thought.
