Who do you think is doing what on the farm? I feel like Shelly loves taking care of the cattle and brushing the horses.
I need Vee chopping wood for their fireplace for... scientific purposes. I feel like she's really into the Financial aspect. Making sure they're in the green, deciding on prices for their goods. If it's a more modern setting, I can see her working on their machinery. I think seeing Vee fixing up a tractor or something would just be AHHHHHHH!??!

Whats is one thing the gang (Brusha, Tisha, Shelly, Vee) like & dislike about one another? Like they all have different taste & hobbies & whatever and I know some of those tastes would clash with each other.

Finally⌠after like,,, 4 years in the making, my little webcomic is finally LIVE.
Iâve been wanting to delve into more personal + original work for a while so Iâm excited to finally release this thing into the wild.
Iâm planning to update on a bi-weekly schedule on this blog, and then monthly on webtoon. (though I am highly debating whether or not to like,, even post it on there. we shall see.)
When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didnât want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase âpeanut butter cups.â (Iâm happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).Â
I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didnât want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didnât know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked âHey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?â And she said âIâll be right there.â And she came and got me within minutes.Â
Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didnât seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldnât worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only âwomanâ around that wasnât related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked âNext time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? Iâve been craving them.â And she came and got me, just like that.Â
Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Donât discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.Â
Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell âthis is not my mom/dad.â A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they donât know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.

Candice is a little geeky and can be shy, but she gets excited about something she likes. She has a photo album full of pictures of her friends. She's also kind of a Glisten fangirl (not romantically, she just admires his confidence, sense of style, etc and looks up to him). Ironically, she's not really into having pictures taken of her and would rather be on the sidelines. Candice never actually appeared in the show or meet-and-greets, or anything too public at Gardenview. She mostly helps manage things on the back end, and kids normally would see her (IF they see her) moving boxes, taking pictures of the other Toons, and talking to staff. The producers of the Dandy's World TV show didn't include Cam because she was plain and "boring" compared to her fellow Toons (which was fine by her, she has pretty bad stage fright and doesn't like being the center of attention). She does talk to the other Toons, she's not a stranger, she just prefers to fade into the background most of the time.
Her serial designation is OA-002 (Off Air, #2 because Dyle is first) for this reason.

EXTRAS
⢠Candice's lens is an extra eye, and she can see out of it. She uses it to take pictures and read; her normal eyes are slightly farsighted, and the camera lens can zoom in and focus, so it's more practical.
⢠She's well acquainted with Rodger and sometimes joins him on investigations (as long as she can just take pictures and not have to interrogate anyone).
⢠She has a photographic memory (hehe funny)
⢠She is a light-producing Toon, but only about 10% brighter than the glow of the normal Toon.
⢠She's on the shorter side, taller than Tisha, but shorter than Boxten.
⢠She has a tendency to get way too close to the action in hopes of a good shot. This has gotten her in trouble a few times.
