Norah made me sob when she woke up in the hospital like genuinely. Watching Norah slowly mentally deteriorate to what she once was and now I donāt think she smiled once this episode it is SO upsetting to see. Milo is an absolutely INCREDIBLE actor
The bathroom sacrifice scene. Chills. That scene was so haunting and seeing Norah and Lui friendship really added to it because like theyāre the two smart ones of the group kind of like seeing them have to kill this rabbit idk it was just so haunting I just canāt EVEN
Mrs Abrahams I have zero words that is disgusting ughfhshfhhfhf chills
As soon as bizly said that Isaac heard Bella and he started saying āDaddy? Iām coldā I CANT EVEN SHE SAID SHE WAS COLD I CANT IM GONNA SOB AND CRY and also Isaacās screams when he got bitten by Mrs Abrahams go Condi go yes
Charlieās acting this episode really stood out to me too like Williamās bout of madness he just had a WHOLE crashout like I am so impressed like letās GO Charlie. Williamās bout of madness was also so like scary I guess because like the knowledge of what happens to William at the end of all of this is so just like it really adds to it idk why his bout was so impactful to me
Them all reading the poem together was sweet
Lui almost dying caused a full mental breakdown I was like oh okay so letās not!!!!
Another thing about Lui, I love how he obviously go so enveloped in the magic. Grizzly really played Lui like the obsession with learning this magic was almost overtaking him. He always says āoh I can learn this spell let me do this spellā and it was so eerie like I get that he wants to help but like it gives me such a bad feeling
Iām so glad weāre getting more Iām really excited for whatever more horrors we get to witness with these guys
She would have had them over at Willās in the basement and shown them a Google slide of all of the Phan evidence and then years later when it got revealed to be true sheād call all of them screaming
Not to be dramatic. But does anyone else ever think about how Norah and Isaac are both treated by the people around them in a way that either disincentivizes or fully prevents them from prioritizing their own wellbeing

Lui: Pippin. No particular reason, he just seems like heād like Pippin.
Norah: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She reminds me of some of the characters and yeah. I think sheād also like Next To Normal. I feel like Norah would really like musicals so sheād watch a lot
William: The Lost Boys. Heād like the vibe and the vampires
Isaac: Big Fish. Heād say Hamilton because he doesnāt want to explain Big Fish to people but truly I think this musical would touch his heart

Norah has anxiety. Worse yet, auditory hallucinations that she has to use a camcorder to differentiate from reality. After all, any awful sound she hears could be real. Sheās heard horrible, impossible yet entirely real things before. She tries to save her sanity by falling back on rational defense mechanisms, but how far can that really get her living in Deadwood?
The threats that haunt Isaacās everyday life arenāt as illusory as the rest of the team. Fear is something that lives in the same house as him. Just existing puts him at risk of incurring punishment and the feeling of dread is probably as familiar to him as the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. His life itself might not be at risk, but thatās a cold comfort
Luiā¦heās an expert on the occult. If youāre always thinking about something, you start to see it everywhere. And things only get worse with Empty Graves (spoilers below the cut) -
because even he couldnāt pick up on the fact that he was living in complete ignorance with his dead and decaying grandmother. I canāt imagine a world in which this kid is ever able to trust his grasp on reality again. Anything and everything could be monstrous
Not to mention just the straight up traumatic aspect of everything that goes down in Deadwood. Bodies, blood, loss of autonomy, neighbors gutting each other, death, mortal terror. This entire environment is like Miracle-Gro for long term psychological issues. I wish all of UPP a very please see a therapist
