Whoops disappeared again! Homework sucks lol. This is the first fic I’m recommending that’s ongoing, the chapter and word count will be updated whenever I see it but know it may be inaccurate. Please note my commentary has spoilers.
“When Tim was younger, he had an imaginary friend. As he grew older, that friend turned out to not be as imaginary as originally thought. Now Tim knows of a world that operates on different rules than his own and he's been keeping that hidden from his family and friends as much as possible.
Until, of course, John Constantine loses a powerful artifact and suddenly his friend's world gets seen by Batman and there's no way for Tim to continue keeping this secret from his family.”
If you’re a former or current fan of Creepypasta, this one’s for you. Got some of the best classics, Jeff and Liu are hilarious.
I was a Creepypasta fan years ago who stopped paying much attention to the fandom for a while but this fic just brings back all kinds of nostalgia of creepy edits, scary stories read at midnight, and a very different type of evil clown.
The way that Jack (as in Laughing Jack) is written is the perfect mix of “ancient and powerful evil entity here to murder people” and “bewildered victim to Tim being inexplicably eldritch”. The story jumps between parts where Tim was little and when he’s Red Robin and all the little baby eldritch Tim sections are fucking hilarious.
There’s also tons of references to Gotham being semi-eldritch and that Tim’s shadow power stuff is at least partially a result of being from Gotham which is also really cool. There’s also been some stuff hinting that Jason might be a tad bit Creepypasta-eldritch as well and I really hope that gets expanded on! Jason and Jeff can bond over being the murder brother!
At the point I’m making this post, Tim’s been recently murdered by Jeff in front of B and Damian (Tim immediately whines to Jack about it) and I cannot WAIT to see how the author writes how the others react to Tim somehow being not dead.
Please go read it and leave a comment and kudos!
Fic is ongoing. As of editing this post (4/21/26), fic is at 17,148 words, 13 chapters.
