Theophilus London "Humdrum Town"
Auroras Borealis
London duo Alpines warped Emeli Sande's first single "Heaven" into a moody masterpiece sprinkled with a hint dubstep. It utterly captivates my eardrums.

REST IN PEACE & LOVE DON CORNELIUS You're on the "Soooouuuuul Train"
Loving on Neon Indian's "Polish Girl" (sounds kinky) and I can assure you its worth your attention. The video, directed by Tim Nackashi, is centered around the tale of a "disjointed personal journey". Does it get anymore emo than that? Regardless the song is superb indie electro goodness. This is fresh off their album Era Extraña.

Walter Robot creatively crafted Death Cab for Cutie's "Underneath the Sycamore" video. The storyline, centered around a private investigator who follows a missing lady, is certainly worth watching. I found the detailed animation and delightful melody ever so captivating.

SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS
http://www.shutupandplaythehits.com/ On April 2nd 2011, LCD Soundsystem played its final show at Madison Square Garden. LCD frontman James Murphy had made the conscious decision to disband one of the most celebrated and influential bands of its generation at the peak of its popularity, ensuring that the band would go out on top with the biggest and most ambitious concert of its career. The instantly sold out, near four-hour extravaganza did just that, moving the thousands in attendance to tears of joy and grief, with NEW YORK magazine calling the event “a marvel of pure craft” and TIME magazine lamenting “we may never dance again.” SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS is both a narrative film documenting this once in a life time performance and an intimate portrait of James Murphy as he navigates the lead-up to the show, the day after, and the personal and professional ramifications of his decision. “Tape Recorders” (2011) by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer
“Rows of motorised measuring tapes record the amount of time that visitors stay in the installation. As a computerised tracking system detects the presence of a person, the closest measuring tape starts to project upwards. When the tape reaches around 3m high it crashes and recoils back.”
Two Door Cinema Club has a sound that's hard to fall out of like with. Well.. then again, unless of you consider repeatedly repeating their songs hundreds of times back to back (until its hard to think of anything other than their lyrics) a legit attempt to dislike them, I haven't given it a chance. Nevertheless, they're worth a listen. Ear it up!
