An RP blog, one of many, nothing special to be seen here. I really like to play Nepeta and Kanaya, and also some Vriska, Karkat, Sollux, Dave and Tavros! I'm trying to extend into the ancestors, and so far in those I meddle in some Disciple and Dolorosa! Fantasystuck is my niche-eternal.

Yeah!! I used parenthesis for awhile but like, I used brackets once in a parp chat just to differentiate, and I felt like it looked a lot more neater and was more generally nice to look at for some reason? And it just stuck. I still switch between them pretty regularly, but I always felt like brackets looked nicer.

Yea, I think it looks neater, and it draws my eyes better? It feels more solid in my head.

But the Auto-OoC recognizes them just fine. I’ve tested with both singular and double brackets.

It does!! And I guess if it does recognize it(not sure why I never tested it tbh), then I don’t really have a reason not to use it.

And which bracket-Nep prompt? I currently have 3 up, as well as a Dragon Hybrid Jane.

Honestly, I always feel like garbage for it, but when I can’t reply for like a month or two because of circumstance, I just kinda

lose it? For all my rps, unless they were REALY GOOD(ie. roughly 15% of them. Sometimes zero out of my current concurrent rps)

I fell asleep trying to write a prompt, and when I woke up, I made myself laugh because I don’t remember writing this at all or what it was going to be about.

there’s something of a reoccurring pattern I’ve noticed in my time in cherubplay that seems to be a common habit in writers? and it happens mostly when it charactets are sharing dialogue– what I’ll do is have my character speak, and as people realistically tend to do, they’ll take a pause, jump maybe to a few topics in a spurt of dialogue and end on a train of thought where I’d expect my partner to pick up on But what they’ll do us they’ll have their character insert a response to every line of speech I write, making the whole exchange very ridged and weird because when that happens, it makes it seem like my character ignored their character’s speech to continue talking. And I can’t write a reaction to their inserted dialogue in my next reply, because then that’d be backtracking to shove in an action that was supposed to happen two replies ago! Idk, maybe it isn’t as widespread as i think it is, but it’s something I often deal with

Okay so HYPOTHETICALLY, if one were to go about killing Gl’bgolyb, how would they do so?

Like, I feel like, in a no-game AU with Gl’bgolyb (ignoring the fact that Gl’bgolyb exists BECAUSE of the game), the only way for Alternia to be like Feferi wants would be to kill Gl’bgolyb.  Not saying she would or wouldn’t do it, and not even saying it’s her idea. The thought, just sort of crossed my mind as the only real solution to Alternia’s primary problems, considering Gl’bgolyb’s death screech kills on increasingly higher blood castes so it’s a super easy way for the empress to keep control via the threat of death.

Well, in my entirely uneducated opinion, it could possibly be done in a way that’s incredibly sudden while it was in a state where it couldn’t react like if it were asleep, incapacitated, filled up with with some crazy toxins from food or dead creatures it was def or a massive amount of synthetic drug, or maybe there could be some potential way to intentionally damage whatever massive thing it has that substitutes for it’s vocal chords?

It really depends on how liberally you want to look at Gl’bgolyb’s voice and it’s death cry. Does it feel it’s own death coming and let out the screech as if it were the last act it is going to make with a very dark and pre-meditated intent, or is it just a reactive thing, more instinctual to the point that it could be tricked into not unleashing with a very sudden death, or with a careful manipulation of its way of thought. Maybe if enough trolls with power similar to Vriska’s all imprinted a specific effort onto Gl’bgolyb at once, it would be enough to overcome it before it became aware of what was really happening?

If there were a way even to incapacitate it, leave it in a coma-like state and let it starve to death or let calamity of some other form befall it, maybe that could work? I’unno, just throwing darts. It’s really fucking big and can kill basically anything, so I guess it’s not SUPPOSED to be easy to kill.
