Miranda x Ian Plot Idea
How they know each other and how they meet again after ages:
Miranda and Ian are still a rough idea, we have some stuff for them and like a basic rough idea for them but they need much further development. We kinda know what road we're gonna take them down but like more details are to come. But yeah, we kind of talked about how they had an on-going kind of relationship throughout many years and had occasionally crossed boundaries (Paris, I think we said??) before then he vanished for a while after being kicked from his old pack and then next time they'd meet up would be during a stint where her gang might be trying to do business with someone in New Orleans (like a casino or something fancy or whatnot) so like both their crews would be in the same place at the same time and Ian would see her on the balcony and go talk to her and then they'd both discover that they're part of the other gang and realize it's risky to be seen together so they'd part ways for fear of being caught mingling or something. But now why am I imagining them passing by each other in the room later and one of them slipping the other a note in their hands as they brush past each other and the note is like meet me at such and such bar at such and such time etc so that's when the other would meet the other at the specified location which would probably be a bit out of the way and at a late hour to avoid being seen together. So they have some drinks and chat about life and stuff and about their gangs etc and then they go home or whatever and agree to meet up again which becomes a regular thing unbeknownst to their gangs.
Supernatural Bloodlines stuff and the wolf pack murder:
Meanwhile, in the background, the Supernatural Bloodlines stuff is kind of a good idea actually. Like we already decided they'd come from some kind of rival pack type stuff so like being in New Orleans which is supposedly a haven for supernatural creatures, vamps and weres would live alongside each other all along and then Miranda and her peeps would show up and cause a bit of a stir because of her gang and Ian's pack being kind of against each other etc. I was legit thinking the other day about a death in one of the tribes or like maybe her sire sends one of his vamps to kill a member of his pack because he's a bastard like that and really hates werewolves. (Right so now I'm getting the idea that her sire might have sent a hit on this particular wolf because his hatred for werewolves comes from centuries ago when a wolf pack member murdered one of his first vampires, so what if this wolf he gets one of his vamps to kill is related to the pack member who murdered one of his first vamps years and years ago?? And her sire uses his business needing attending to in New Orleans as an excuse to get to this particular wolf to have him killed?? Idk fam, all these ideas are coming at me right now, what even?)
Plus, I see her fellow vampire buddies being a lot more evil and sketchy than Ian's pack and she kind of doesn't wanna be a part of them but she has no other choice because if she left, she knows she'd be tracked down and killed. So she kind of plays along and is okay at acting fine with hating on the werewolves etc until she meets Ian again and realizes he's part of the pack her gang are against then she's like conflicted more and tries to hide this from her fellow vampires, especially her sire because she's not supposed to fraternize with the enemy, so to speak. But due to her and Ian's long living kind of friendship or whatever, she wouldn't want to be against him so she'd be like welp, what do??
But yeah, her sire and co. would come along into the wee haven in New Orleans for business because they're underground shady business workings and that's how she and Ian would bump into each other again and they'd fill each other in on their places in life currently and find out each other are in the gang the other is opposed to and whatnot. After the fight between the wolf and the vampire, this would result in the wolf's death and that's when shit gets real nasty between the wolves and the vamps and the vamp fam stick around longer than they should just because there's now a strong hatred built up between the two gangs. Like her vamp fam were probably passing by for their business dealings, maybe expecting to be there a few days at most and then when that all kicks off after the death of the wolf, they'd be sticking around longer which is exactly what her sire would have wanted all along but led them under false pretenses into a battle of sorts which they did not sign up for and only thought they were there on usual business. But see, they all only agreed to join their sire's gang because they knew they couldn't really say no because they were low key afraid of him.
Maybe the fight between the wolf and the vamp was when no one else was around like imagine the vamp had been tracking the wolf or whatever and got him on their own then that's when they attacked so no one is really sure which of the vampires killed the pack member except for Miranda's sire of course, if he put the hit on the wolf. So accusations would be flying and why do I imagine Ian maybe even asking Miranda if she knew who was responsible or if she did it??? Like he might ask her for information and she wouldn't actually know who did it either and she'd be like "I don't know and even if I did know you can't expect me to tell you or they'll have my head next" and he'll maybe think she's lying to protect her fam or herself and then she might get annoyed at him for thinking she'd want to protect them and then she might tell him how she ended up part of that gang and how she wants out but knows she can't and if she could help him she would but it's too dangerous. And he'd kind of understand to a point given his background in his old pack and this new one.
Revenge and secret meetings:
Naturally, the wolves would want revenge on the vampires and it would turn into an ongoing war between the two gangs and each gang would carefully plot their next move and maybe eventually Ian's pack would end up killing or capturing one of her vamp fam members or something? And use it as leverage against the other vampires? But yeah, neither can go about outright killing the others so it's all carefully calculated etc. And if Ian and Miranda continue to see each other on the regular on the down low amidst all of the war stuff going on, they'd meet in secret which is where they could discuss their sides of the same story and talk about how they want things to be different and try and come up with an idea to end all of this fighting etc BUT this time maybe one of her fellow vampires sees her and follows her this one time and sees her with Ian (like they could be in a bar or hotel or something together?? Somewhere where they could be easily seen through a window or in a lobby etc?) and is like oh damn, and takes a picture or something then the next day this vamp would approach Miranda on her own and threaten to report her wee friendship with the "dog" to their sire and Miranda would try and talk them out of it but that doesn't work so in a panic it turns into a physical fight and Miranda has to kill the other vamp in order to protect herself (I see this spying vamp hating Miranda because of her position within the gang and because of how their sire lets her away with more stuff etc so this other girl vamp wants to ruin Miranda in order to gain their sires affection or something) which she doesn't really wanna do but knows she has to and this other vamp would have been newly recruited and trying to earn her place but a lot less smart or strong as Miranda hence how Miranda would be able to overpower her in the end. Then after Miranda would kind of freak out because she'd just killed one of her own "sisters" so to speak and if her sire discovered this god knows what'd he do to her so she might in a blind panic go to Ian for whatever reason, covered in blood and all freaked out, not knowing what to do but not knowing what exactly he could do either, she just goes to him because he's the first person she thinks of but it would be risky business because she's already been seen with him and now she's like what happens next time if I'm seen with him or he's seen with me??
Miranda’s sire be knowing stuff and the truce:
BUT PLOT TWIST, what if her sire already kind of knows what she's been up to like somehow he's found out for himself that she's been with Ian and has like at one point been with him physically a few occasions and this pisses him right off because he trusted Miranda and had high hopes for her so instead of confronting her about him, he would lay low and wait for his opportune moment to do something about it. Obviously he would find out about his murdered vampire (the one she would have killed earlier) but the assumption would have been that one of the wolves killed this vamp because they'd killed one of their wolves and initially this would be what the vamps would think even when it isn't true and maybe her sire figures out it was Miranda who actually killed one of his other vampires which pisses him further off and he contemplates what to do about her because she's gone "rogue" now, mingling with a were and killing one of her own. And because he's such a heartless savage, maybe he attempts to reach out to the werewolf pack leader, claiming he wants to form a truce and end this war so maybe the sire and the wolf leader would meet at some point and discuss this truce so the sire would offer the alpha a deal all because he wants to teach Miranda a lesson for betraying him. So the sire would offer a life for a life, stating he knows it wasn't one of them who killed his vampire but considering they still haven't gotten their revenge, I'll freely give you one of my vampires in revenge for taking the life of one of your pack members. He offers them Miranda on a plate under the condition the war seizes because after all, blood for blood and all that, that way they've both had their revenge (the sire has his for all those centuries ago and now the pack will have theirs for the life of one of their own at the hands of one of his vampires) so there's no need to continue the battle but they'll never be friends. Maybe the sire even says he'll leave New Orleans and never return in order to keep the peace so the alpha might accept this deal and the sire allows them to snatch Miranda and keep her somewhere until they decide what to do with her. Miranda wouldn't have a clue that her sire knows anything about her and Ian etc and wouldn't know it was actually her sire who had given her up, she'd just assume she's the first vampire they've had a chance to catch since the murder of their own wolf.
Miranda’s capture and Ian’s conflict:
I imagine that when the pack has Miranda captive, her sire would pop in and she'd be low key shook and at first think he's there to save her bacon so she'd be like "oh thank god, please help me, let me free" etc and he'd just be like "I'm disappointed in you, I expected better from my shining star. You know I have to teach you a lesson, Miranda. You've got so many black marks against your card now, I can't have you running around wild now, can I?" and he'd probably torture her a bit like sunlight and vervain etc then he'd leave her all weak and alone. So yeah now to make it even more angsty, since Ian is still kinda new and trying to prove himself to earn a place in the pack and is kind of the go-to guy within his new pack, what if they send him in to kill her so he can earn their full respect and prove himself?? (Neither normal members of either gang would know about the truce details, like the wolves might think they'd just landed a perfect opportunity to get a vampire and the vampires would assume that the pack had just been there at the right time to get her but both leaders would know the truth behind the truce and the alpha would probably ask why her and her sire would tell him that she was the one who killed the other vampire and explains that he doesn't tolerate that kind of behavior in his gang.) Like they would tell him they've finally got their hands on a vampire and his latest assignment is to kill them and he might be okay with this until he strolls in and sees its Miranda and he might be like shit, how do I do this and she'd see him and know he's been sent to kill her so she'd be like shit, is he going to kill me?? BUT because of their history and meeting regularly these days, their feelings would have begun blossoming so it would be terribly conflicting for them both. Like she'd be in no position to fight back but would he even want to kill her? And how would he get out of not killing her without his pack knowing or finding out? So it'd be a sticky situation and like all of the angst but like that's all my mind has right now.
APPARENTLY, I HAVE GOT A LOT OF IDEAS ALL OF A SUDDEN??
Ian x Miranda headcanon aim:
Ian specialty is fixing and stealing cars, but he is also one of the best drivers his pack has ever seen and he enjoys of car racing immensely.
Also since joining to his current pack, he has taken part in underground street fight type of activities vampires and werewolves held in New Orleans (this, of course, is done under strict rules and whatnot).
