“Clarissa Explains it All” Returns!

After 24 years off air, the show is being given a second look with a new novel! This book will actually be a sequel, continuing where the first book of the same name left off.

Mitchell Kriegman, the writer of both books, tells Entertainment Weekly that “The novel picks up Clarissa’s life in her mid-twenties because it’s the most interesting moment to see where she’s been and where she’s going. It’s why I say it’s a re-imagining of Clarissa. Things I Can’t Explain resets her story from a new moment.”

Benedict Cumberbatch in final negotiations to play Doctor Strange!

"Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness star Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly in "final negotiations" to play Doctor Strange for Marvel Studios.

The news comes via Deadline. Doctor Strange was recently name-dropped in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The British actor was first reported to be on Marvel's wish list some months ago, but then Joaquin Phoenix was approached for the role. Ultimately, Phoenix wouldn't commit to a multi-film contract."

Meet Ms. Delphox, a new character to be introduced in the new season of Doctor Who, as played by Keeley Hawes. 

Keeley Hawes (Line of Duty, Upstairs Downstairs) will join the cast of Doctor Who, starring opposite the Doctor. Hawes will play Ms. Delphox, a powerful out of this world character with a dark secret. Traveling across space and time, the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), will come face to face with the mysterious Ms. Delphox when they arrive on a strange and puzzling planet.

We cannot wait for the return of new episodes of Doctor Who and will share more information as we hear it.

True Blood season 7 will see a fresh face portray James: Nathan Parsons.

Last month, Luke Grimes decided to step down from his role on True Blood because he reportedly wasn’t happy with where the writers were taking his character. When he first joined the show, he was working there under the expectation of appearing opposite co-star and friend Deborah Ann Woll.

Showrunners have moved quickly and selected Parsons, best known for his role on ABC Family’s Bunheads, for the role. According to TV Line, James will be at the center of “a surprising love triangle” in season 7.
