This has to be one of my favorite parts of Episode 8.
It’s Anne!
“I can walk anywhere in 25 minutes” Anne ‘move, I’m gay’ Lister She fast !
Please imagine the Roanokes all going to Pride together.
Jen at the front, checking the map of the festival to make sure they’re all going the right way - she has some simple pride gear on, a button with a flag on it plus her pronouns button, but nothing really flashy. She’s doing her best to make sure they get just enough excitement, but not too much that anyone’s burnt out before the big parade they want to participate in.
Ripley’s tagging close behind, with her flag tied around her neck like a cape! Bubbles is tagging on close behind with his own rainbow flag, of course! It’s the first pride festival Ripley’s been to, so she’s very excited to explore all the fun stands and music and to celebrate and learn more!! She’s really looking forward to participating in the parade especially!
Jo & April are up next - April convinced Jo to let her paint two trans flags on her cheeks this year, and Jo thinks she likes it so far - she’s still going to carry her smaller trans flag, though - can’t get enough trans flags. April swapped out her regular bandana for a rainbow one, and also felt absolutely thrilled to find a sapphic flag for sale at one of the stands - so now she’s got one of those, too!
Mal & Molly are in the back - going a bit slower, mostly since this is Molly’s first pride, and she isn’t as antsy as Ripley is. She wants to take it all in! They both have matching lesbian flag scarves, even though it’s the middle of summer. Mal makes it her goal to get every single different version of the lesbian flag she can find, and Molly is very happy to help her out with this mission.
Just… The Roanokes going to Pride, everyone. Think about it.
This is so sweeeeet!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 😍
Happy Pride!
Truth coming out of her well (with female-presenting nipples) to shame everyone
oh sweet irony
ALL 👏🏾 OF 👏🏾 THEM 👏🏾
I’m sure there is actually some traditional ceremony or something that Grounders have to match warriors up with their seconds, but I like to think it’s more like picking out a puppy. Or maybe just in Anya and Lexa’s case.
welcome to the age of female superheroes
this video is my sexuality
Okay that cut from Captain Marvel to Wonder Woman to Valkyrie–I have needed that my whole life.
Is Tahani Al Jamil the dear friend of telenovela star Rogelio de la Vega or is Rogelio de la Vega dear friends with philanthropist and socialte Tahani Al Jamil?
FINALLY someone asking the important questions
I don’t get why people hate immigrants so much… Like they’re literally just… People… From another location….
My partner is an immigrant from the UK and still holds his citizenship. At a recent event, an acquaintance talked about how many “immigrants” get jobs over “Canadians” and they shouldn’t allowed to be management (which my partner is). My partner reaches across the table and goes “Hi, immigrant here!” and she goes “Oh I didn’t mean immigrants like you…” And you can so tell they just mean “brown people” or “Asian people” but they pretend it’s about jobs and shit.
That’s the same with my family. We were war immigrants from the soviet union and now live in Germany. Now the syrians are here because they also have war, and people keep asking me why I’m defending them so mercilessly. And when I tell them that my family (that is still alive) has gone through the same bullshit. But they insist that both scenarios are completely different. They’re not different, you’re just racist.
THEY’RE NOT DIFFERENT. YOU’RE JUST RACIST.
Slytherin, dropping Ravenclaw off at the airport: Have a safe flight!
Ravenclaw: I don’t really have a say in the matter.
Slytherin: Die then.
