1. What did you do in 2014 that you'd never done before?I lived out of state without my parents. Worst experience of my life, but I've definitely grown from it.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?I don't make resolutions. I work on things that need to happen or change in my life all the time, so I don't really think making a resolution to do what I'm already doing is worth it.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?Not this year.
5. What countries did you visit?Sadly, I still have yet to leave the states. I hope to get to the point that I can someday soon though.
6. What would you like to have in 2015 that you lacked in 2014?A job/ financial security.
7. What dates from 2014 will remain etched in your memory, and why?Oh well let's see...I guess January 31st/ February 1st because that was when I left my mom's place to begin my journey of living semi on my own, March 15th because that's when I officially moved out of state, August 30th because that's when I moved back to California, and December 17th/18th because it was the first time I ever got to sleep over with my love.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?Getting myself out of a horrible situation virtually on my own. Including making plans to move back home in about a month, saving up every bit of money I absolutely could in order to do so, breaking off a life-long friendship, and driving more than I ever have before.
9. What was your biggest failure?I would say my move to Idaho, but while it didn't work out, I wouldn't say it was a failure. It was something that had to happen for me to grow and learn in my life. And get rid of toxic people.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?Quite a few times.
11. What was the best thing you bought?MY CAR!!!!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?My own, for being strong enough to get through the toughest situations I've ever had to face in my life.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled?The behavior from my former best friend, her dick of a boyfriend, and her whole family.
14. Where did most of your money go?Gas, moving from and back to California, car insurance, etc.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?Being able to see my friends and love again once I got back to California.
16. What song will always remind you of 2014?I don't know. I mean yeah, certain songs will transport my mind back in time, but never a specific year since I'm really bad with dates.

About the same, my weight doesn't fluctuate that much
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?Nothing.

20. How did you spend Christmas?Sitting around the house with my family, just having a good time

22. What was your favorite TV program?SAILOR MOON! The nostalgia and love is just so overwhelming. The feels!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?Yes. Former best friend.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?Didn't have one. I pretty much listen to the same music I listened to the past 2 years.

28. What was your favorite film of this year?I'm gonna have to say Big Hero 6 for numerous reasons
29. What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?The experience of taking care of myself on my own when faced with living with people that don't like you.
30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2014?That same as what it usually is: fashionable but comfortable with a generous mix of girly and tomboy.
31. What kept you sane?My two best friends in the whole world - Hannah and Jesse - my love, and my family. Without all of them I honestly don't think I would have made it to the end of the year.
32. Which celebrity/ public figure did you fancy the most?Uhh...I don't know?
33. What political issue stirred you the most?I honestly don't pay attention to politics. I suppose I could say Ferguson since I actually paid some amount of attention to the goings on, but generally I stay blissfully ignorant when it comes to that shit.
34. Who did you miss?Jesse, Hannah (both linked above), my family, my love.
35. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2014.Okay guys. Just because you have been friends for your entire life (and I mean entire life) does not mean this person will always be there for you, will never hurt you, or be the person you knew. People change, which I know and knew, but you never know the extent until it effects you personally. If they don't treat you with respect, don't care if other people don't treat you with respect, and basically just turn their back on you based on other peoples' opinions of you, they do not deserve to be in your life. Doesn't matter how many years you have been friends, all that matters is if they have become a toxic element in your life. I broke off a 23 year long friendship because she became a horrible person that no longer saw me as worthy of her time based solely on what her boyfriend thought of me. She let him poison her mind and the minds of her family and now she has one less friend.
