A completely baseless headcanon I have about a version of Kaeya's bio father I made up in my head is that one of the few things he allows himself to like is swimming and diving.

Kaeya doesn't have many memories of his biological family and homeland, much less happy ones. One he does have however, is that his parents used to take him to an underground pond where his father would take a running start and dive into the water while Kaeya and his mother watched from a blanket on the shore as he swam around in circles touching every piece of luminescent stone and algae to light them up for a good 5 minutes before he emerged again for air.

Crepus on the other hand was not a very strong swimmer. He could swim, sure, but it was nothing to write home about. The first time Crepus took both of his boys to the beach little Kaeya was very confused watching Crepus flop around like a wet rag because in his 6 year old mind being a human fish was just a dad superpower to him until now, turning to Diluc like "I think dad's broken".

Do you think some of the Tracen trainers are runners too? Either because they were inspired by their trainees, to test out and reasearch running techniques, just keeping fit or some other reason.

Imagine a bunch of students getting dared to check out a rumor about a group of ghosts who run out of the academy gates every other night after the sun sets and training wraps up. Instead of ghosts they end up finding a group of trainers in sports clothes who give them an earfull about being out and about so late. Turns out they all had the same idea of training for the local charity marathon after work and now run together as a group and share a human creatine stash.

Word gets back to director Akikawa who tries to get the trainers their own signature racewear to match their trainees but thankfully gets talked down into the much more practical and reasonable alternative of custom sportswear in racewear colors. On the day of the marathon pretty much the whole academy shows up to cheer on the trainers.

A gatcha game where instead of gambling for sexy waifus who want you so bad, you pull for fucked up little freaks who have so much wrong with them that the concept of biological sex isn't really applicable anymore and probably shouldn't be trusted with sharp objects

I know that the no horses in genshin thing is probably because they aren't implemented (yet) but a lore explanation could be that they're not that common in teyvat. Mondstadt however does have them, the expedition just took the ones that weren't too young, too old or having foals while the rest stayed in a pasture in an area we haven't seen yet and now that the expedition is back the horses that went are there too enjoying a well earned retirement/vacation.

If horses ever get implemented imagine getting a tutorial quest where you come to Mond only to be like "where the hell is everybody" and end up being pointed to the pasture because it's apparently foaling season and everyone dropped literally everything in favor of baby horse.

Razor has never seen a horse before and is in awe. Jean was supposed to log the number of foals and information about them but for once completely abandoned her work because "Barbara come look at his one, it's blaze is a little heart". Fischl has declared a horse her "Black Unicorn of the Night" (it's not even true black, just dark bay). Eula is jokingly swearing vengeance on a yearling that tried to eat her cape. Varka is sitting under a tree holding a whole draft foal like a baby, completely trapped because he rocked it to sleep and can't get up until it's done napping. Kaeya and Diluc the resident horse whisperers are actually getting along shockingly well while surrounded by half the herd. Venti is singing to the foals while Albedo draws the scene. Klee is sitting on a pony, getting her first riding lesson.

You also get invited to riding lessons and given a horse because the ones left behind because they were too young are finally old enough for work and that's how the tutorial happens.

my genshin brainrot has surfaced from the pit of old interests and I had a really stupid idea

In germany there is a running joke that the city of Bielefeld isn't real and Mondstadt is based mainly on germany, so I had the idea that besides Mond city and Dornman Port, there's a third city everyone in Mondstadt pretends doesn't exist.

Imagine little baby Kaeya being so, so confused during a buisness trip to that city with everyone including Diluc insisting that it isn't real despite them physically being IN THE CITY until Crepus takes pity on him and explains the joke in between laughs, and then years later Kaeya doing the same to a very confused Traveler while doubled over laughing.

People who watched iron lung are aware that you need to set up your story before you have anything crazy happen right?? I just saw someone say with their full chest that most of the first hour ‘could be taken out’ NO IT FUCKING COULDNT?! You want to ‘take out’ the SET UP of the movie?? Where we learn everything about where we even are?? What the stakes are?? Who the main character is?? Just because YOUVE seen a playthrough already doesn’t mean the movie should assume you know this stuff, it still needs to tell you. And it does a good job it’s not marks fault you have TikTok attention span

I saw some bozo online say you could walk out of the theater at the beginning and come back at the end and miss nothing which I suspect is what he did and also complained that the shots were too static. Like bro, it's an existencial thriller set in what is essentially a rusty can made on a much lower budget than most movies nowadays most of which I suspect went to the blood, not Fast & Furious who knows anymore.

So I just watched Iron Lung and I have some stuff to say

Why are some people saying it's boring or drags on? I think the pacing was perfect and I mostly watch action movies so that's saying something.

Once every couple minutes the movie gives you a New Thing and some time to sit with and think about and insert New Thing into the bigger picture all the way to the finale, which by the way, literally left my heart pounding. I leaned forward in my seat and rested my chin on my hand with a part of my palm touching my neck and could literally feel my blood pumping through my jugular.

Overall great movie.
