In Australia they have stopped grocery delivery too, so there is no choice but to go out a few times a week into a supermarket packed full of people and almost no food.

I still refuse to hoard anything, but I really wish we were at least able to only have to shop once a week instead of going all the time.

I know. It’s horrendous from a disease control point of view.

And being 33 weeks pregnant, I had intended to stockpile a little bit of pre-cooked meals by the time I pop and am out of action for a little while. Currently can’t do that practically or ethically and while I’m hopeful supply chains will ramp up in a month or so, if I have to go food shopping three times per week with a newborn, that’s really an epidemiological nightmare.

And can’t rely on family to shop for us when there’s such strict limits per customer.

There was one we had in our backyard that fell on our fence and buckled the steel bar. When the guy came by to take it away he sliced into roughly foot long segments and we kept one. It was really cool in the inside, also the chlorophyll is on the inside. My mom turned the outer layer into a lampshade
