@neurodivergentcatra
the amazing digital circus is a show about empathy and what it does to you if you go too long without a support system so the show starts with sympathizing with Pomni (the most empathetic person, easy), ep2 is empathizing with an NPC in a game (no flaws), ep3 is empathizing with a man who has dementia, ep4 is empathizing with someone who annoys you when they're unmasking, ep5 is asking you to empathize with a rich white woman and so on....
so it all works up to the empathy boss - a bush era edgelord millenial trans girl who thinks she's Max from Sam & Max and is inherently unworthy of love
and some people failed the empathy test
Exactly the show is not asking you to forgive her the show is asking to empathize with her those are different things
Imagine being so braindead and media illiterate that you misunderstood the show to the point the creator deleted tumblr.
fucked that you canāt fix other people especially when you really care about them. Oh so im just supposed to be there for you while you suffer. like a useless cunt gargoyle
If you insist!
Reformed Jax coming back from abstraction with a T-shirt that says: "I abstracted and all I got was this killer rack."
She is still flat as a board.
tweeting "just because you don't like jax as a character doesn't mean she was poorly written" setting my phone to vibrate and shoving it up my ass
so i found out the guy who sang "isn't it lovely" in the finale also voiced disappearing guy and immediately got to work
Yesterday I had the realization that RWBY being PG-13 is really limiting Cinder's potential. We all know in reality, she would be melting peoples' jaws off their faces and other insane gruesome shit like that.
"if Jax is a trans woman she's still an abuser so she's bad representation so the show is transphobic" you're an idiot. you want your blorbos to be perfect ideal angels, I want my blorbos to be realistic, nuanced, flawed human beings, we are not the same. I LIKE that she's messy and fucked up and problematic, I think it's a realistic depiction of how a lot of repressed and traumatized trans women are. I think the show goes to great lengths to explore how and why she is the way she is, and to evoke sympathy for this kind of person. it doesn't excuse her actions but it does make them understandable. and I think the fact women like that deserve sympathy is an idea worth stating and worth shouting. yes she's a bully and she hurt everyone around her and that may never change. she still deserves sympathy.
(tearfully) i just want everyone to be a girlā¦m-my lesbian greedā¦it canāt b-be satedā¦
