Im worried my peers are conflating REAL action and speaking out. Yes speaking out is important (!!!!) but lets not pretend that we dont exist in an online echochamber where the value of your solidarity is degraded... Jia Tolentio speaks on issues regarding framing of an opinion as an action. It’s problematic when “speaking out” is seen as liberating without emphasis on “better policies and economic redistribution”. So lets spend time considering our options beyond reposting some of the liberal platitudes i’ve seen all over twiter.

sat sept 7 — more desk pics!

finished the first week of management school!! i’ve been uncharacteristically social and talked to so many people from so many nationalities! it was a super busy but very fun week. the campus is amazing, with plants everywhere, and a rooftop terrace with flowers and apple trees. you can pick the apples if they’re ripe!! expect pictures soon, once i get settled in a bit more.

I haven’t been around for a while and I’m trying to get back involved in the community. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems like there are so many less people than there were two years ago. Is it because of corona?
