You ever get that feeling of “indifferent” where nothing makes you excited and nothing makes you mad or happy or sad everything just is and nothing you do will ever actually matter or effect anything or anyone and you’re really just there. You’re nothingness. Irrelevant. Invisible. Distant. You’re so far away from any emotion at all that it makes you so far away from the people you care about and you can’t do anything about it because you just don’t care, you don’t feel it. You know in your head how you’re supposed to feel because you’ve felt it before, it wasn’t always like this, but now knowing that feeling and not caring about anything is crazy. You get home from work, wash your face, get into your pajamas nestle into bed alone with a bottle and you drink until you feel something, because at least tomorrow when you feel empty you’ll also feel your hangover and your throat burning. And that counts for everything.

ok so. there’s an office administrator at my work and she has this cute little 2 year old named William. he calls me “Nick so tall”. like that’s my name to him, but he says it like it’s one word. “Nicksotall”. and i love it so I’ve taken to calling him Will So Lil’ and we get along like a housefire. i haven’t seen him in like two weeks, but his mom comes in to work today and tells me that recently he’s been telling his own bedtime stories, and he starts them all with once upon a time and everything. cute right? well to me it gets cuter, because he has been telling stories about Batman, Spider-man, and Nicksotall. and we have these adventures and climb buildings and fight crime together and i have to be honest, it warmed my heart so fucking much it’s ridiculous
