Super Adult Level Rookie Suzuki is back to work, checking what is the Japanese limited edition box. Then he passes the word to the one responsible for creating most of the DR merch, Kumata from the licensing team.
People who go to the Kibougamine Store a lot might know them because they are usually was there.
I would like to point that Kumata’s name basically means “a field where you grow bears” and no one points that out nor makes a pun about. What a wasted potential.
In normal games, he one in charge of decided what goes into the limited edition is not from the licensing team, but Kumata really wanted to do this, so Spike let them. Kumata spends 4 lines sucking up to Producer Terasawa for allowing this opportunity, then they add that it’s great to work with the market and they hope to get invited to their post-release celebratory pizza.
Cutting to chase, Kumata will show everything, even though most of it was already shown in the DanganRonpa Twitter.
OVA “DanganRonpa 2,5: Nagito Komaeda and the World Ender”
Kumata comments that Side:Hope’s ending was bad unexpected, specially with how many mistery where left to solve, like how the dead 77s woke up. This anime will be a little bit about that misteries. In order to avoid spoilers, Kumata is not talking about why the number is 2.5 or why Maizono, the Warriors of Hope, etc. are there.
Their opinion about the story it gives a feeling of “what did I just watch?” on the first watch, but it gets better on rewatch.
They are exactly like the old Monokuma straps, except they can say 3 different lines, all voice by TARAKO herself. Kumata has been growing bears for 6 years now, so they kinda grew to like Monokuma’s beautiful figure a little. Just a little.
New DanganRonpa V3 Saishuu Academy Profile Book
I was expecting this pic to finally be on a readable size, but of course not. THe book contains profiles for all 16 students, Monokuma and his children. They all have height, weight, bust, blood type, personal pronouns and comments about how their outfits were designed. The book is the size of a regular notebook, so it’s to carry it around.
DanganRonpa Calendar 2017
2017 calendars with 1, 2, AE, 3 Future, 3 Despair and V3 illustrations. No /Zero. The calendar contains the character’s birthdays so you don’t the chance for the celebratory tweets. Kumata gives us this piece of trivia: If you have 23 people with different birthdays, the chance of at least of them sharing a birthday with a character is over 50%. Then Kumata starts randomly praising Producer Terasawa for having redrawn some of the pixel art for this.
Soundtrack & Cast Comment CD
A CD with about 15 minutes of voice comment and 65 minutes of 10 precious track by our genius composer Masafumi Takada. Commenters are Akio Ootsuka (Hoshi), Kikuko Inoue (Toujou) and Maaya Sakamoto (Harukawa) and the CD comes with a transcript. They where recorded immediately after the voice recordings ended.
Kumata states that the Takada’s soundtrack, as per the “New” in the title, will give a new outlook on life. The limited edition soundtrack also has 2 really cool compositions not present in the regular soundtrack.

The package has a strong image of Monokuma and Ki-bo, drawn by Komatsuzaki himself.
Something that wasn’t shown on Twitter yet: the sides of the box have cute Monokumerz holding hands.
