So it’s been just over a week since Blink’s latest album dropped, and after a week of listening, I can officially say I’m pretty satisfied. It’s a different sound, but at the same time, it revels in their old sound. Everytime you listen to one of the album’s songs, and it begins to sound different, you’re then instantly hit by an old school Blink-182 riff, bass line or drum beat. It’s brilliant. It's not the same without Tom DeLonge, but Matt Skiba is just as good. He nailed every song he sung & really proved himself to the haters \\m// It’s more poppy than punky when you compare it to their past, but every song on this album sounds like they belongs to a specific past album. I want to start off by saying what an amazing bunch of people they are. Words cannot even begin to describe their brilliance. Truly. Without them, the festival wouldn't of been the huge success it was this year. They have been the greatest interns we have ever had, and it is going to be impossible to top them.
