Get out there
I wasn’t able to run yesterday because I had so many errands to run, but I’m hoping to be able to go out on the trails today after work. I love sunset runs. I’m thinking maybe I’ll head to the creek tonight!
fit-lifting-girl
I know I never regret going for a run after it’s done. Even if I didn’t want to. What I do regret is staying at home and being lazy when I could’ve been up and active.
Nobody really likes running on this big grassy blob near my home, but yesterday I went up there for the first time in forever and found the most beautiful fields of wildflowers 🌸
This looks like a beautiful place to run! I’ll have to try and find something like this near me.
Trail running magic✨
Morning run!
This was a slow run with lots of walking. I woke up earlier than I like to be up and took the dog out on the trails. I’m hoping that in time I’ll be able to run this whole route.
Day 1
I know it may not be as fast or as far as most of the runners I see here on Tumblr, but I finished a mile in 10 minutes without stopping today. I’m trying hard to be proud of myself. I’ve always been an overweight, unathletic person and running was something I never thought I would do voluntarily. I remember when they made us run the mile in gym and I would walk the whole thing. I need to remember that I’ve just started and I can’t expect myself to be as fast or as strong as I want to be instantly. I need to work for it. I’m hoping to increase my mileage and my speed over time. I would love some tips and advice to help me get going!

And so It Begins
Hello everyone!
I’m brand new to running and I put this blog together to document my progress and to help me stay motivated. I’d love suggestions of blogs to follow that fit the theme of running and staying fit! Also, please feel free to give me advice as I know very little about running and training and I’m eager to learn more. I’m so excited to share this journey with you all!
